Among the experts of the Spirit Fruit Forest, only the Forest Lord survived. The others died at the entrance to the core area because they lacked the strength and perceptual abilities to detect the danger in time, thus missing their chance to escape.
Indeed, the Forest Lord had sensed the danger instantly and retreated into the core area without hesitation. The other experts, however, couldn't react in time and perished at the entrance.
After all, One-tailed had unleashed the power of the Nine-tailed Fox God—a force that was essentially unstoppable. Perhaps only those at the absolute pinnacle of power could have contended with it; the other experts weren't a match for even a single blow.
Therefore, the Forest Lord's retreat was a very rational decision. The other experts truly had no way to resist and were killed right where they stood.
