Leech had no particular requirements for Quickblade, the newly-dubbed Knight. With his formidable combat skills and fiery personality, he wasn't the type to be constrained by noble etiquette. He just needed to be told what not to do.
Take Lieder, for example. His reputation among the nobility wasn't great either. Though his illustrious military achievements earned him the name Baron Porcupine, people said behind his back that it was his mind that was truly like a porcupine's—crude and barbaric.

With a true Knight in the territory, almost everyone was inspired.
The Warriors knew that even commoners like them could become Knights and transcend their social class.
