After saying goodbye to the Beast Husband at home, Shi Wei changed into his beast form—shrinking it down a bit—and let Su Yu sit on his back, carrying her leisurely out the door.
Shengqing, Qi Bai, and the three little cubs followed behind them.
Seeing that Su Yu was gone, Lan Qi didn't stick around. He finished the roast duck in his hand in a few quick bites and left.
As soon as they were out the door, the three little cubs bolted ahead, frolicking like wild boars released from a cage, sniffing here and looking there.
