Huai Xu struggled to suppress the turmoil in his heart. He looked at her with his usual gentleness and asked softly, "What's wrong with the soup? Does it not taste good?"
He lowered his gaze, a hint of loneliness in his voice. "I learned this from Shi Wei. My hands are a bit clumsy, so maybe... I didn't grasp the essence of his recipe. If it doesn't taste good, Yu Yu, you don't have to drink it..."
How could Su Yu bear to see Huai Xu looking so lonely and pitiful? She immediately ignored the strange energy she had felt while drinking the soup and said quickly, "It's not bad! It's delicious!"
As she spoke, she lifted the bowl and finished the soup in a few large gulps, even eating the meat inside.
She had no idea what level of Wild Beast Meat Huai Xu had used for the soup today. The meat melted in her mouth, sliding down her throat before she could even taste it properly.
Su Yu smacked her lips and showed the empty bowl in her hand to Huai Xu. "See? I finished it all!"
