She knew Yujing was a scoundrel, but she never imagined he could be *this* much of a scoundrel!
Su Yu was practically fuming. Her face was tense as she turned away, refusing to look at Yujing getting beaten up.
She even patted Qi Bai's hand and said coldly, "Let's move farther away. We don't want to get in the way of his beating."
Yujing let Shengqing punch him twice, his gaze never leaving Su Yu even as he was getting hit. When he saw her turn her face away, his heart dropped.
'This is bad.'
'I took the joke too far.'
When he saw Qi Bai about to carry Su Yu away, Yujing finally lost his patience. Vines shot out from the ground, quickly tangling around Shengqing's limbs.
Meanwhile, he bolted like a wild animal set free, dashing toward Qi Bai and possessively snatching Su Yu from his arms.
Su Yu cried out in alarm, instinctively wrapping her arms around Yujing's neck.
