Insects were all too common in the tribe, and now that it was night, all the Beastmen were focused on the Haoyue Tribe's Priest. It was the perfect time to take advantage of the chaos.
Upon entering the Haoyue Tribe, Vine had followed the scent Vic left behind before his death, leading him straight to his killers.
But being a cautious man, he didn't make a move rashly.
Though his heart burned with hatred for Vic's killers, he knew they had to be powerful to have taken Vic down. Attacking rashly would only tip them off.
He wouldn't get revenge for Vic, and he would throw his own life away in the process.
So, Vine began a long wait, biding his time. Finally, an opportunity presented itself.
Like a bat in the night, he hid in a pitch-black corner, his superpower surging wildly within him as he commanded his tiny insects to go avenge Vic.
If he poisoned his enemies here, the Beastmen would erupt into chaos, and he could slip away under the cover of the confusion.
