The smile on Apollo's face almost slipped. A chill uncontrollably surfaced in his eyes. This was the first time since arriving on this continent that a native female had called him ugly.
'Interesting.'
'Is this some new way of trying to get my attention?'
As these thoughts ran through Apollo's mind, he looked at Su Yu with a helpless and indulgent expression, as if completely unbothered by her offensive remark. "That really hurts, you know."
"Still, you're the first female to ever call me ugly. You're special. It makes me want to be your friend even more," Apollo said with a light chuckle. "What do I have to do to catch your eye?"
Huai Xu and Ren Qing remained expressionless, but Earl Li's face instantly darkened.
'Friends? What a joke! He's obviously taken a liking to our Yu Yu and is just making excuses to get close to her.'
'These scheming males!'
