At first, the leader of the Haoyue Tribe had wanted to confront Apollo, but he had absolutely no evidence that Apollo had done anything to his people.
Furthermore, Apollo's methods were so mysterious and unpredictable that the leader had no idea what he had done to the Beastmen, or why they would "die" from various causes after their bodies had healed.
To uncover the truth, the Haoyue Tribe's leader observed from the shadows. While searching for evidence, he also secretly prevented any Beastmen who tried to leave the tribe from doing so.
Because of this, he had witnessed firsthand the changes a Beastman underwent, and he knew that those "healed" by Apollo would transform into monsters resembling Exotic Beasts.
As the Haoyue Tribe's Beastmen listened, the faces of those who had previously sought out Apollo to treat their injuries instantly turned deathly pale. The more timid among them felt their legs give out, and they collapsed to the ground.
