When it came to business, Lan Qi was instantly serious.
He glanced at Su Yu and shook his head, looking as if he wanted to say something but thought better of it. "No, we haven't seen anyone else on our journey."
Lan Qi and Xun Yu had been thrown to the same location by the spatial rift, plunging into a swamp. Thankfully, Xun Yu had been conscious. Otherwise, they both would have perished there.
As soon as they climbed out of the swamp and regrouped, they followed the feeling from their Beast Marks and hurried nonstop to find Su Yu.
"But don't worry, Yu Yu," Xun Yu said, gently taking her from Lan Qi's embrace to comfort her. "Your Beast Mark hasn't reacted, which means the others are still safe. We'll go find them once you've recovered."
Su Yu concealed the worry in her eyes and hummed softly in agreement.
"Now that you're here to watch the cubs, I'll let Ao Tian and Ao Yue out for a bit."
