Egg had a snake about a meter long in its mouth. Its sharp teeth were clamped onto the snake's vital spot, and the long body dragged on the ground, twitching occasionally as if it wasn't quite dead yet.
Phew, at least it's not venomous. After identifying the species of snake, Shen Yibin breathed a small sigh of relief. "Egg, did you bring this for us to eat together?"
"GAH!" Egg nodded, then proudly raised its head as if showing off its spoils to Shen Yibin. It trotted over to Hah'Er's side, dropped the snake on the ground, then peeked into the bucket of small fish, snorted, and shook its head disdainfully. It seemed to be saying that compared to its catch, Hah'Er's was pathetic.
Hah'Er stared blankly at the snake by its feet, then looked at the small fish in the bucket and grumbled in frustration. It was always the star of the show on their outings, but it never expected to be outshone by Egg today.
