Song Ciwan jumped in surprise. She quickly pulled back the hand holding the goose egg, exclaiming, "Big White, what are you doing?"
But the Big White Goose flapped its wings, pushing the egg right toward Song Ciwan. As it pushed, it let out a series of clear, bright honks. "HONK HONK HONK!"
Song Ciwan had formed a Spirit Beast Contract with it earlier, so she could sense the Big White Goose's intentions with relative clarity. Now, she was starting to understand.
But even though she understood, she found it hard to believe. She asked the Big White Goose, "Big White, are you saying you want me to deal with this egg?"
The Big White Goose: "GACK GACK GACK!"
It craned its neck and let out a frantic series of calls.
Song Ciwan said with difficulty, "You're not going to incubate it... so you mean, you want me to *eat* this egg?"
The Big White Goose: "HONK HONK HONK, GACK GACK GACK!"
Its calls were loud and carried a distinct air of taking credit.
