"What are you planning to do about Leila Lane?" Jensen Morrison asked.
"Leave her be. She's my bait," Ivy Holden said.
Jensen Morrison glanced at her impassively. "Who are you trying to reel in?"
"That's hard to say. There might be a surprise in store." Ivy Holden smiled, unwilling to elaborate.
"Stellure Capital took a major hit on the stock market. Rumor is, someone set them up," said Jensen Morrison.
"That's not surprising. There's always a bigger fish."
"What exactly is Bill Holden's background?"
Ivy Holden frowned, annoyed. "He just had breakfast at your place once, didn't he? Do you really have to dig for answers like this?"
"Since you've accepted me as your brother, I have a duty to protect you."
"Oh, thank you so much," Ivy Holden said, rolling her eyes dismissively.
'She didn't even want to drag Carson Holden into this, let alone some convenient, newfound brother.'
