At 10:30 AM, Carson Holden and his daughter were waiting at the exit of the airport's VIP channel.
Before long, a group of seven or eight people emerged from the channel, escorting an old woman with a full head of silver hair.
Ivy Holden recognized her at a glance—it was her maternal grandmother. The tall, handsome man beside her was the one from the video call. Julia Xavier had said he was the current head of the Sterling family, Evan Sterling.
Carson Holden took a couple of steps forward to greet them, bowing respectfully to Hazel Sterling. "Ma, it's been a long time. I hope you've been well."
"Such deference from Professor Holden. It's quite unsettling for an old woman like me." Hazel Sterling shot Carson Holden a cold glare, then turned her gaze to Ivy Holden.
"Grandmother, I wish you good health." Ivy Holden hurried forward and bowed as well. She made this bow on her mother's behalf.
