The shopkeeper found a plastic sealed bag, put the string of honeycomb Buddha beads inside, and handed it to Ivy Holden. "Here you are."
Ivy Holden took the bag and looked over at Desmond Draper.
Desmond Draper smiled. "Miss Holden, shall we go browse somewhere else?"
"Alright." Ivy Holden knew Desmond Draper had something to say, so she led the way out of the shop.
Bill Holden followed close behind.
Desmond Draper exchanged a few more pleasantries with the shopkeeper before coming out.
"Mr. Draper, you didn't even handle it. How did you know it was a fake?" Ivy Holden asked quietly.
Desmond Draper let out a laugh. "Ha! Did I even need to handle it? Honey wax is extremely rare these days. If it were real, he definitely wouldn't have it on display for sale."
"But... I really feel like it's real," Ivy Holden said, clutching the bag and carefully examining the string of beads inside.
