"President Halloway, looks like life isn't treating you well. It hasn't been that long since we last met, so how did you get so many new white hairs?" Ivy Holden shot Milo Halloway a beaming smile, sat down across from him, and then said to the server, "You can serve the food now."
The server nodded and left the room.
Milo Halloway sat back down in his seat and sighed. "Ah, I have too much on my mind! I haven't had a good night's sleep in days."
"On your mind? What could possibly be troubling President Halloway? Is it that your empire is so vast that the company's just too busy?" Ivy Holden twisted the knife with another cheerful smile.
Milo Halloway gave a bitter smile and sighed. "Oh, Ivy! Please, don't make fun of me. The Halloway Group is on the verge of bankruptcy. What empire? I've become the shame of the Halloway Family."
"How is that possible? President Halloway, you don't need to plead poverty to me, of all people." Ivy Holden pressed the call button on the table.
