"What, who did you think it was?" Ivy Holden said as she walked in carrying an insulated bag. She glanced around the spotless room. "Hm, you're pretty efficient. You've cleaned up nicely."
"Oh, please! A housekeeping service cleans this place twice a week. I didn't do much when I came over, just gathered up Jenson's things and hung Chairman Sutton's clothes in the closet. Oh, and I changed the bedding."
"That's good." Ivy Holden nodded and placed the insulated bag on the dining table. "I brought this. It can be a late-night snack for Chairman Sutton later."
"You're always so thoughtful." Gene Aldrin grinned, laying on the flattery.
"Cut it out. A little less sucking up, a little more work." Ivy Holden smiled, raising an eyebrow slightly before turning to go back to her own apartment.
Bill Holden didn't go in. He watched Ivy Holden close her door, then went downstairs to find Shelby Roland.
