"Aunt, I didn't come here to fight with you," Christian Aldrin said, standing up as well. "I just want to remind you that if you really like Professor Morgan, you shouldn't be trying to hurt him."
"It's not your place to meddle in my affairs!"
"When you took those photos, you didn't originally intend to hurt Professor Morgan, did you? And things getting to this point isn't what you wanted either, right? Aunt, you're being used, and you're still happily counting their money for them. Are you clever or just plain stupid?"
"Used? Hah! Even if I'm being used, at least it proves I have value!" Orchid Aldrin snorted disdainfully and turned her head away.
"So did you get what you wanted?" Christian Aldrin pressed.
"If I can't have the man, getting money is the next best thing."
"How much?" Christian Aldrin sneered. "You have a full teaching schedule at the college, and you even teach at private training centers on the side. It's not like you're short on cash!"
