Of course, Ivy Holden wasn't going to toss it to Preston Forrest.
Her goal right now was to be provocative.
So, while Polly Phelps wasn't looking, she dropped the handkerchief behind him.
Polly Phelps didn't realize at first. By the time he did, Ivy Holden had already run back to her spot.
The moment Ivy Holden sat down, Clementine Chambers realized what had happened. She looked back, saw the handkerchief behind Polly Phelps, and quickly gave him a push.
"Someone's cheating!" Ivy Holden immediately pointed at Clementine Chambers and shouted. "Punish them both!"
"Ooh-hoo—" Preston Forrest joined in the jeering. "Perfect! Punish them both!"
"This doesn't count as cheating, does it? Besides, Phelps didn't get away," Clementine Chambers said with a reluctant laugh.
Seeing this, Ivy Holden immediately upped the ante. "If Polly Phelps can't bear to let her be punished, he can take both penalties himself!"
