After winning, Lianne had only one thought: 'Games of wit are definitely more my style.'
"The last time I saw this many chips was at Master Seth's place." Evan Caldwell was beaming, generously pushing a stack of chips toward Quinn Preston. "Good brothers share their fortunes. Don't be shy."
"Who's your brother?" Quinn Preston pulled the chips into his territory, his refined mouth speaking cold words. "Lianne won the chips. What does it have to do with you?"
"Of course it has to do with me! If I hadn't discovered this hidden gem, Little Lia, when would you guys have ever gotten to see such a spectacle?" Evan said.
The crowd stared intently at the stunningly beautiful girl who seemed so easygoing. They never would have guessed she could be so merciless at the card table.
She was freaking incredible.
"Speaking of spectacles, who's more impressive than Mr. Sinclair?" someone suddenly said. A chorus of agreement immediately followed.
