Alaric Davenport stood up, walked over to her, and sat down beside her. "You can't go to the studio anymore."
Rosalind Lowell lowered her gaze slightly. "Why? Weren't you supportive of me before?"
"You can work here. Be my secretary." Just as Rosalind Lowell was about to say something, she heard a few taps on a keyboard, and he added, "Five million a year."
Rosalind Lowell bit her lip. "I'll pay you back that money." The moment she finished speaking, her phone buzzed with a text message.
Another five million had been deposited.
Rosalind Lowell almost dropped her phone. "What is the meaning of this?"
She was a little angry at how he was treating her. 'What kind of person does he take me for?'
"Didn't you want to learn from me? Learn here."
Rosalind Lowell opened her mouth, but she found she couldn't refute him. In fact, she thought he had a point.
"Then... can I start as a regular employee instead of being the secretary?"
