Jessica Sutton frowned. "I definitely can't save you. Do you know how big that boulder outside is? The three of us together might not even be able to move it."
Rosalind Lowell gasped but didn't reply. 'From the sound of it, she's just stalling for time.' She closed her eyes, praying Alaric and the others would return quickly.
"It's not that I don't want to save you, but you know I twisted my ankle. It'll take me a while to walk and find them. Why don't you just wait a little longer?"
Rosalind Lowell bit her lip. 'Her ankle is perfectly fine. I just saw her walking on it without any problem.'
"Well, I'm off to find Alaric, then. Since I can't walk well, I'll just have him carry me back once I find him. That will be faster. You don't mind, do you?"
Rosalind Lowell took a deep breath. "It's fine. If you can get him to carry you, then by all means."
