'He's going to retreat?'
Yi Yi gazed at Fang Han and fell silent for a moment, a flicker of calculation in his icy eyes.
Blood seeped from the wound on his left side. He could feel that nearly half of his Inner Qi was depleted, and he glanced again at Fang Han, who stood opposite him, sword in hand.
'I can't kill him.'
He had to admit this fact.
Fang Han's strength was greater than he had anticipated, perhaps even superior to his own. He had actually been at a slight disadvantage.
If they continued to fight, the best possible outcome would be mutual destruction with Fang Han.
Assassins never waste their lives in pointless battles.
Yi Yi slowly sheathed his blade. His icy gaze lingered on Fang Han for one last moment before he spoke in a hoarse voice:
"Next time, you won't be so lucky."
Before his voice had even faded, his figure blurred. Just as he had arrived, he transformed into a gray shadow and shot deep into the dense forest.
