In truth, the laws governing the Inner World had not been designed randomly in any aspect. Dan had crafted every single law with one fundamental purpose: to train the members of his family and temper them in the way he believed was most suitable for them and for the stage that lay ahead. This was especially true of the way he had connected the Outer Continent to the Tower, the most complex and important element of the world's overall design.
Although this vast world consisted of two primary components . the Tower and the Outer Continent and each existed as an independent realm, the two did not occupy the same space or even the same dimension. They were connected in principle, yet existed in separate dimensions from one another. This was not a flaw in the design, but one of its central features.
For that reason, the people and creatures living on the Outer Continent would never know that the Tower existed. They would remain completely unaware of its paths, worlds, and trials, nor would they ever be able to reach it, simply because it did not exist within their dimension.
There was only one exception to this absolute rule.
A person had to fulfill a very important condition that Dan had embedded within the laws of this world: attaining what he called the rank of King.
This rank was not an honorary title bestowed by another person, nor was it a specific level of power measured by clear quantitative standards such as the amount of chakra one possessed or the toughness of one's body. Instead, it was a unique state defined by precise conditions related to the individual's very nature and the path they had chosen for themselves.
The essential requirement was to forge a path that belonged solely to oneself, walk that path all the way to its summit, and then establish complete and unquestioned sovereignty over every aspect of it.
The word path did not refer to an ordinary training method. Rather, it represented the aspect that embodied the very essence of the individual.
Sophia, for example, possessed an unmistakably clear path: killing .
All she had to do was continue evolving in that direction and keep advancing until she reached the absolute summit of her own path. At that moment, the laws of the Inner World would automatically recognize that she had reached its peak and would grant her the rank of King.
Whenever anyone attained that rank, the Inner World itself would reward them directly.
Dan had designed the world so that it would respond to those who reached this level, granting them a reward that would elevate their power tremendously.
Within this system, the rank of King was never meant to be a mere prize for achieving a certain level of strength. It was the world's own acknowledgment that an individual had accomplished something beyond everyone else within a particular path and had established absolute, uncontested dominion over it.
Only then would the world open doors that had previously remained sealed.
Foremost among them was the revelation of the Tower's existence and the ability to reach it . the greatest reward of all, one whose existence remained completely unknown to every inhabitant of the Outer Continent.
