I craved a hug from someone all this time. After all, I truly had nobody to stand by my side while I was facing such a big case that might send me to jail, or make me lose custody of my daughter.
On top of that, I actually dared to fight back against Clarissa, exerting all of my willpower just to overpower her.
Everything that happened in my life so far had tired me out, and all I needed was a simple hug.
I just didn't expect it to come from Ray Gatlin, the man who hated me. And he hugged me while we slept on the same bed!
