"W-what are you doing, Ray?! Why would you want me to get arrested! We might go to jail together!" Clarissa yelled.
But I ignored her and continued staring at Detective Penn, waiting for him to act.
"Arresting Clarissa Reed without proper evidence is not within the rulebook, Doctor," Detective Penn said.
"But arresting Claudia just because Clarissa and Miles said that she pushed them is within the rulebook?" I scoffed. "You've got the same testimonies from two key witnesses. Even if you think those aren't enough evidence, then you should still arrest her for further questioning later."
"Again, you're overstepping your boundaries, Doctor Gatlin," Detective Penn tried to lecture me instead of making an arrest. "You're just the police's psychiatrist. You don't have the right to order me around."
