Chapter 13 – The Strike Team
[Scene: Kenta's Expanded Room - Monday Evening]
(The book is spread open on the desk. Kenta circles names. Sui, Yui, and Akari watch.)
Kenta: "My father's journal lists allies. People who fought with him. People who might still be alive."
Akari: "Can we trust them?"
Kenta: "My father trusted them. That's enough for me."
Sui: "Who's first?"
Kenta: (pointing) "Sato Hikaru. He was my father's partner. Lives in Tokyo. We should visit him."
Yui: "What about others?"
Kenta: "There's a woman. Tanaka Rei. Former journalist. She helped expose some of their operations."
Akari: "And?"
Kenta: "A man named Nakamura Ken. Ex-military. He trained my father in self-defense."
Sui: (grinning) "Sounds like we're building a team!"
Yui: "The Shadow Hunters!"
Akari: (small smile) "I like that."
Kenta: (almost smiling) "Then let's go."

[Scene: Tokyo - Sato Hikaru's Apartment - Tuesday]
(A small apartment. Humble. Books everywhere. An old man opens the door. Sees Kenta. Freezes.)
Sato: (voice cracking) "You're... you're Kenji's boy."
Kenta: "You knew my father."
Sato: (tearing up) "I knew him. I fought with him. I mourned him."
(He pulls Kenta into a hug. The girls watch.)
Sato: (pulling back) "You have his eyes. His determination."
Kenta: "I have his book. His mission."
Sato: (looking at the girls) "And these are?"
Sui: (proudly) "His girlfriends!"
Yui: "All three of us!"
Akari: (blushing) "We're here to help."
Sato: (laughing) "Kenji would have loved this. Come in. We have much to discuss."

(They sit around a small table. Sato pours tea. Reads the book.)
Sato: "He kept this from me. Probably to protect me."
Kenta: "We need your help. We're going to destroy them."
Sato: (long pause) "You're serious."
Kenta: "They killed my father. They hunted Akari's family. They're still out there."
Sato: "They're dangerous. Well-funded. Connected."
Sui: "So are we."
Sato: (looking at them) (smiling) "You remind me of your father. Stubborn. Brave. Reckless."
Kenta: "Will you help us?"
Sato: "I'll do more than help. I'll fight."

[Scene: Tanaka Rei's Office - Wednesday]
(A newsroom. A woman in her forties. Sharp eyes. She recognizes the name.)
Tanaka: "Kenji Morik. I wrote three articles about his work. All of them were killed by my editors."
Kenta: "We're going to finish what he started."
Tanaka: (studying him) "You're serious."
Akari: "He's always serious."
Tanaka: (laughing) "I like her. Fine. I'll help. But I work from the shadows. Information. Contacts. No field work."
Kenta: "That's enough."
Tanaka: (handing him a folder) "Start with this. Recent operations. New names."
Kenta: (flipping through) "This is... detailed."
Tanaka: "I've been waiting for someone like you. Someone who'd act."

[Scene: Nakamura Ken's Dojo - Thursday]
(A martial arts dojo. An old man. Muscular. Bald. He bows.)
Nakamura: "Kenji's son. You have his stance."
Kenta: "He taught me. Before he died."
Nakamura: "Then I'll teach you more. All of you."
Sui: "Us too?!"
Nakamura: "You're part of his team now. You need to defend yourselves."
(He trains them. Basic moves. Self-defense. The girls stumble. Laugh. Learn.)
Akari: (panting) "This is harder than it looks."
Yui: "My arms are going to fall off!"
Sui: "But we're getting stronger!"
Kenta: (watching them) (thinking) "They're incredible."
Nakamura: (beside him) "You chose well. They'll fight for you."
Kenta: "I'd fight for them."
Nakamura: "That's why you'll win."

Kenta: (pointing at the map) "The headquarters has three entrances. Front. Back. Roof. We split into teams."
Sato: "I'll take the front. Draw their attention."
Nakamura: "I'll take the back. Clear a path."
Kenta: "Sui, Yui, Akari. You're with me. Roof entrance."
Sui: "What's our objective?"
Kenta: "Find their main server. Download everything. Evidence. Names. Operations. Then we expose them."
Tanaka: (on screen) "I'll be ready to publish the moment you send the files."
Akari: "What if something goes wrong?"
Kenta: (quietly) "Then we adapt. We survive. We try again."
Sato: (firmly) "Nothing will go wrong. We're ready."
Nakamura: (nodding) "We fight together."
Sui: (grabbing Kenta's hand) "Together."
Yui: (grabbing his other hand) "Always."
Akari: (holding his shoulder) "Forever."
Kenta: (looking at them) "Tomorrow night. We end this."

(He sits at his desk. Forty items now. He adds a photo of the team. Sato. Nakamura. Tanaka. Sui. Yui. Akari. Himself.)
Kenta: (looking at them) "Forty."
(He touches his locket. Four photos inside. His girls.)
Kenta: (thinking) "Father. Tomorrow we fight. Wish us luck."
(He picks up the astrolabe.)
Kenta: "Watch over us."
(The astrolabe gleams.)

(They gather outside the building. Dark. Quiet. Rain falling.)
Sato: (checking his watch) "Midnight. Everyone in position?"
Nakamura: "Back entrance secured."
Tanaka: (in earpiece) "I'm monitoring police scanners. No activity."
Kenta: "Move."
(Sato heads to the front. Nakamura to the back. Kenta leads the girls up a fire escape.)
Sui: (whispering) "I'm scared."
Yui: (also whispering) "Me too."
Akari: (holding Kenta's hand) "But we're together."
Kenta: (squeezing) "Always."
(They reach the roof. Find a skylight. Unlocked.)
Kenta: (looking down) "Drop in. Stay close. Stay quiet."
(He goes first. Lands silently. The girls follow.)

(The building is dark. Hums with electricity. Guards patrol.)
Sui: (whispering) "Where's the server room?"
Kenta: (checking the book's map) "Third floor. Follow me."
(They sneak. Avoid guards. Reach a stairwell.)
Akari: (freezing) "Footsteps. Coming down."
Kenta: (pulling them into shadows) "Quiet."
(A guard passes. Flashlight sweeping. They hold their breath.)
(He leaves. They exhale.)
Yui: (whispering) "That was close."
Sui: (whispering) "Too close."
Kenta: (moving) "Let's go."

(They reach the third floor. A heavy door. Keypad lock.)
Kenta: (studying it) "I can bypass this."
Akari: "How?"
Kenta: (pulling out a small device) "Sato gave me this. He's done this before."
(He attaches it. The keypad beeps. Door opens.)
Sui: (grinning) "Spy gadgets!"
Yui: "James Bond style!"
Akari: (urgently) "Let's go."
(Inside. Rows of servers. Blinking lights.)
Kenta: (finding the main terminal) "I need time. Guard the door."
Sui, Yui, Akari: (positioning themselves) "We've got it."
(Kenta works. Fingers flying. Downloading files.)
Sui: (whispering) "How much longer?"
Kenta: "Minutes."
(Then—alarms blare.)
Akari: (paling) "They found us."
