Rosen lifted the Domain of Time, also ending Lust's possession state.
At that moment, Envy suddenly attacked Lust.
Just like when he was first created, he tried to seize Lust's eyes.
"They're mine, they're mine… Only I am worthy of such eyes."
Rosen and Lust simultaneously kicked, sending Envy flying.
Coming to the window, the entire Raccoon City had completely fallen, turning into a bloody Hell.
Countless zombies roamed everywhere, attacking every living creature that emitted the scent of flesh.
Just then, Rosen heard gunshots.
Happy U.S., gunshots every day.
Rosen looked down at the street below, only to see a Pica crashing through the streets, and in the Pica's rear compartment, a heavy machine gun was mounted, with someone controlling it to spray at the zombie horde chasing from behind.
"Kaplan, drive faster, faster!" James urged loudly.
"I've already pressed the accelerator until it's smoking!" Kaplan replied loudly.
Rosen, from upstairs, was very surprised to see James and Kaplan.
Originally, Rosen thought they should be in the laboratory now, being experimented on.
After all, the Umbrella Corporation's experiments were ruthless.
Just then, the two's Pica crashed into a roadside utility pole, and the two hurriedly fled the Pica.
Rosen discovered that in less than ten days since the zombie crisis erupted, the zombies' movements had become much faster.
It seemed the zombies' evolution speed was faster than imagined.
Rosen found that James and Kaplan were actually running towards his apartment building.
However, this was not surprising, because due to Rosen, all the zombies inside and outside the apartment building had been cleared out.
The two entered the apartment building lobby and immediately pulled down the security door; zombies continuously pounded on the security door outside, and only then did the two sit on the ground, leaning against the security door, panting.
However, the security door also isolated their scent, and gradually, the zombies outside began to disperse.
James and Kaplan had rested enough and began to search the apartment building.
They searched apartment suites one by one and found that there were no zombies inside the apartment building.
At first, they searched cautiously, then relaxed.
Judging from the condition of each suite, there should have been a zombie outbreak here.
However, from some traces, the zombies in this apartment building were cleaned up by someone.
But they did not find the most needed food; clearly, the food had also been scavenged by someone.
The two guessed that a team might have come to the apartment building and, while searching for food, incidentally cleared out all the zombies.
Finally, the two arrived at the top floor, and they also noticed that the top floor suite was unusually clean.
The two exchanged glances; someone lived here!
Just as the two took out the weapons they carried, the door opened automatically.
"Captain, what's going on?"
"Go in and see." James did not relax his guard because of this.
The two cautiously walked into the room and saw a person in the living room sitting on the sofa with their back to them, legs crossed, watching a 120-inch ultra-large TV.
James silently approached this person from behind, pointing his gun at the back of their head.
"This isn't the first time you've pointed a gun at me." Rosen did not turn around.
James's mind kept recalling, did he know this person in front of him?
"Sit down, you must not have eaten for a long time, right?"
James and Kaplan did not put away their guns, but still sat on the sofas on either side of Rosen.
When they saw Rosen's full face, both felt Rosen looked familiar, but just couldn't remember where they had seen Rosen.
Seeing the large pile of various snacks on the table in front of them, the two finally put down their guns and began drinking canned beer and eating snacks.
"Do you have a main course?" Kaplan asked, mouth full of popcorn.
These snacks really couldn't satisfy their appetite; only a main course could fill his stomach.
Rosen put down the beer in his hand and asked, "How long have you not eaten?"
"Five days, I guess. These past few days, we've been injected with glucose or something else." Kaplan said casually.
James looked at Rosen: "Have we met somewhere?"
"I was once your teammate."
"That's impossible!" James retorted with a very firm tone, "If you were our former teammate, there's no way we wouldn't remember."
"You just escaped from the Umbrella Corporation's laboratory, right?"
