Nickeleye managed to find another hiding place from the Jotun but he knew it was only a matter of time until he was discovered. He looked back at the others only to see them blankly looking at him. He was pretty devasted. The Jotun found him easily again and tried turning him to paste but he dodged. It was only a matter of time.
Back at the festival, the fight kicked off with the two clashing at the center. sparks of lightning and fire flew in the air. Erick was seemingly struggling but John was grinning. John's eyes flared up and he managed to overpower Erick easily. He sent the guy flying into the air but that is exactly what he wanted. He picked himself in the air and smirked. Lightning came from the sky and struck him. He was instantly coated in lightning. He zipped through the sky and stood before John.
His body was emitting lightning like a waterfall and his eyes were just sparks. Erick said," Your move brother."
John smirked and punched the ground with both fists. His gauntlets were instantly covered in rocks that oozed magma." I still think I can hold you off with half my power," said John taking a stance at his brother.
The crowd cheered for him and Ian straight up smirked like a mad man. Skullburn and Astrid were watching carefully. Erick took a mui-tai pose and said," Let it be known, I gave you a chance."
Erick disappeared and reappeared in front of John punch in the air. His swing was fast, that is obvious, but the fact is, John earthed all the charges. He only blocked his head as all the damage was absorbed by his body and sent to the earth. So John was taking no damage whatsoever for as long as he was on land. Erick kept attacking from all directions but John did not move a muscle. John kept a close eye on his timing and when he was confident in his data, he removed the earth layer on his gauntlets and when Erick was coming in for a punch behind him, he dodged it and the punch hit the earth wall getting stuck. John looked Erick in the eye and swung his arm at his stuck arm, cutting it off. He then grabbed what was left of his arm and earthed all his lightning. He then came in for a punch squarely on his brother's chest, slamming him into the ground hard. Erick coughed up blood as he bounced up before hitting the ground again. John straightened up and jumped back. He took a boxer stance and his gauntlets started to glow. The ruby on the hand was now shinning. John smirked as he looked at his crew. They all shouted," Don't toy with your food too much!"
They crew laughed. This was when John looked at his captain. The man had that expression he only showed to his prey that he knows cannot win. The devil's grin. He looked at his father and he took was smiling, at least it looked like that. The man had half a face remember. This was when his instincts screamed at him to jump to the side. He jumped and there flew a pair of axes sparking lightning. They started to follow him like crazy. John watched from the side of his eye as Erick awoke like a zombie and decided to move to the next step in his plan. He span in the air and landed on the ring drilling into it. This stopped the axes as they went to spin next to Erick. John did not stay down for long as he popped out of it stomped onto the ground facing Erick with a cryptic expression on his face. Erick was about to say something when the ground behind John erupted with magma. Erick looked at John who started to cackle. John then said," So you created another arm using lightning. I'm impressed but it looks you are almost out of lightning. Shall we rap this up."
" That's what you think," said Erick throwing up his axes to build up more lightning.
" You should observe your opponent before losing your weapons," said John catching the Vikings attention.
The crew plus Ian all got off their seats as they shouted," DO IT!"
John created a star eye symbol in the air and an earthened dome started to appear around the ring. Erick was instantly alarmed and tried to pull back his axes but John was tok fast and the dome was formed. The axes hit the dome and got stuck. Then the dome neutralized all the lightning.
Outside, Ian's coat turned brown as he grasped his saber and he pointed at the dome. The once completely blind from the crowd was now visible with added sound.
Inside, John said," Inside my dome, lightning can never work. Time to finish this. GET UP YOU JOTUN SHIT HEADS. MUSPELHËIM!"
Ten fire Giants appeared from the still expanding lava and roared at Erick. He was surrounded." So this is how you will do it? Using soldiers to finish me. You call yourself a viking," tauted Erick.
" Hahahaha, I think you have something mistaken. I didn't train for five years for me to come here and use my minions. They are here to prevent you from escaping. I'm beating your ass myself," said John as his gauntlets glew a menacing yellow.
He dashed at Erick fist in the air and punched him straight in the face. He flew towards a fire giant who kicked him back to the center where the magma burnt off his other arm. He screamed in pain with a hanging jaw. Yes, his jaw was dislocated with a single punch. He glared at John in anger but shouted," I GIVE! I HAVE TRULY LOST!"
With those words, the magma went back into the earth and the dome slowly turned to dust was blown away. The crowd was still quiet in suspense as the watched them come into a better view. Erick was barely hanging onto dear life with his limbs in critical condition.
The pirates and vikings cheered loud for the winner, John. John walked to the center of the ring and raised a fist at the crowd. The pirates cheered as the did it too. Ian smirked and sheathed his saber." Good work kid. You live another day," said Saber as he went back to sleep.
The Vikings now moved to take Erick to first aid while the pirates picked John and celebrated him by throwing him into the air. Ian said to Skullburn," I guess I raised your son better than you old friend."
The two glared at each other before breaking into a laugh together. These two were bosom friends in a world of kings and queens.
