Jay's car rolled to a stop in front of the tall iron gates of Roman's mansion. The night air was cool and still, the security lights sweeping across the driveway and catching the glossy black paint of his vehicle. Two guards stepped forward immediately. They recognized the car. They recognized him. One of them nodded once, a small gesture of respect, and the gates swung open without a word. Jay was no longer a visitor here. He was expected.
