Chapter 1 - The Fall of Pride: A Tale of Redemption

Chapter 1: Shadows in a Happy Home

In the quiet, river-side village of 'Sobujpur,' lived a man named Solaiman and his wife, Rohima Khatun. Solaiman had inherited vast lands and immense wealth from his ancestors. They had two children—an elder son named Arian and a younger daughter, Adiba.

When the children were young, the family was quite humble. However, as time passed and Solaiman's business expanded, their behavior began to change. Since they never knew what poverty felt like, a deep arrogance of wealth slowly took root in their hearts.

Solaiman stopped talking to the common villagers. Rohima Khatun began to look down on the neighboring women, flaunting her expensive jewelry and silk sarees. Growing up, Arian and Adiba learned that money could buy anything. They stopped playing with other children, acting as if they belonged to a superior world.

Chapter 2: The Peak of Arrogance

Years passed. Arian and Adiba were now young adults. Arian drove expensive cars in the city, while Adiba spent her days showing off foreign cosmetics and designer clothes. Whenever a poor villager came to Solaiman's door for help, they were insulted and driven away.

One day, an elderly farmer—who was once a close friend of Solaiman's father—came to ask for help with his granddaughter's medical treatment. Seeing him, Arian mocked, "People like you make the front of our house dirty. Does money grow on trees that I should just give it to you?"

Rohima Khatun joined in from behind, "You're right, son. If we show them kindness, they'll try to sit on our heads." The old farmer wiped his tears and left, only whispering to himself, "Money comes and goes, my son, but a person's blessings and curses stay forever."

Chapter 3: The Gathering Storm

When pride reaches its peak, the fall begins. Suddenly, Solaiman's major businesses started to collapse. A massive shipment of goods was hijacked, and a devastating fire at his warehouse turned crores of wealth into ashes.

Misfortune never comes alone. Banks began sending notices to repay the huge loans Solaiman had taken. One by one, their cars, city flats, and finally, their royal village mansion were auctioned off.

One morning, they realized they had nothing left except the clothes on their backs and a few personal items. They didn't even have the courage to face the neighbors they once looked down upon.

Chapter 4: A Harsh Lesson and a New Birth

When the destitute Solaiman family took shelter in a broken shack by the road, the villagers came forward to help. Arian and Adiba were shocked to see that the very people they had insulted were now offering them food. The same elderly farmer whom Arian had chased away stood before him with a bowl of warm rice.

The old man said, "Son, a person is great because of their heart, not their money. We aren't standing by you today because you are our equal in wealth, but because you are a human being."

Tears rolled down Arian's cheeks. He realized how hollow their pride had been. Rohima Khatun apologized to the neighbors. Solaiman understood that the true meaning of life lies in people's love, not in piling up mountains of gold.

Chapter 5: A Life Without Pride

A few years later, Solaiman's family is no longer rich, but they are happy. Arian works hard running a small business, and Adiba teaches sewing to the village girls. Now, no one leaves their house empty-handed.

The villagers respect them now. They have learned that money fades, but humility and love keep a person immortal. The dark clouds of pride have cleared, and the sun of peace is shining on them.

Moral: Pride goes before a fall, and humility is a person's greatest ornament.
