Chapter 37 - Chapter Thirty Seven

+18 THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE

CHAPTER THIRTY SEVEN:

"Hmmm…" Selene let out a low sultry moan, a warm moist tongue stirred up her vagina, scooping, swirling and greedily devouring the fluids that escaped as a result of its actions.

Selene smiled and looked back at Catley who was on her knees performing this service to her mistress. Selene groaned, pushed her ass firmly against Catley's face, released her sticky string fluids in a fast explosive gush as her curvaceous body quivered and shook. Perhaps part of the thrill she let out her tongue in a ravenous manner, allowing the pleasure to wreck her body.

Catley opened her mouth, presenting the gift her mistress had bestowed her, a mouthful of orgasmic fluids.

Selene smiled, pet and kissed her forehead before venerating her.

"Good girl. Thank you, Dear."

Catley snuggled into Selene who felt oddly soothed by this display of affection.

She was beginning to understand what Isolde enjoyed in being a pet.

Without warning, Selene felt a surge of uneasiness like something bad was right around the corner, her hairs stood on end. Her pulse refused to calm down and her breathing was panicked and ragged.

'I'm scared. Why?'

"Miss Arman?!" Catley called out panicked, she helped Selene sit and checked her body temperature.

Then the echoes came, loud bangs rang through the mountains, a telltale sign that a gunfight was taking place.

"No!" Selene flung open the balcony door and looked in the direction of the slope Ives and her children had gone to. More shots rang out precisely from that area.

Then cries and screams each belonging to her daughters, one stood out in particular as she almost heard the name Ives being called out in desperation.

Something pulled on her, an intense desire for herself. It wasn't her imagination, she was feeling Rhea. A scenery appeared in her mind's eye, she saw Rhea holding up Ives who was bleeding profusely from a bullet shot to his neck area.

There wasn't time for fear, she shook off the projection and pulled down her skirt took a fur coat from her closet and a pitch black spray bottle.

Catley returned from checking with the security who confirmed that Ives' group was in the middle of a confrontation on the slope.

Selene's moved with graceful haste through the magnificent halls, rendezvousing with more and more of her security who came to her side, armed and ready to act.

On the final stretch of stairs before the door leading out into the estate's compound, a maid appeared from the door raised an armament and fired it at Selene. Her bodyguard threw her back and stepped in her place, receiving the shots.

Catley held onto Selene and led her away from the scene to safety alongside other loyal servants including Edward, Catley's lover.

"How did they get in here?" Edward cursed. Being one of the thirteen brought along to Edleweld to assist and perhaps have another sensual session with his mistress and Catley,

an assassination attempt wasn't prepared for.

"This was a setup, if we don't act correctly. We all die." Catley stated, tense with anxiety over her mistress' life.

Selene heard their exchange, satisfied at the level of loyalty her staff had towards her built from years of working together to uphold the Arman household. It wouldn't be an understatement to say they were family.

"Sorry. I am gonna have to stop you there." A burly man with long curly hair and a mustache stepped out from the corner armed with an automatic rifle pointed directly at them halting their egress.

"Someone paid money for the big madam to bite the dust. You all best filly off away, I don't wanna waste them bullets."

He grinned exposing a golden canine and multiple damaged teeth.

"Like Hell." Edward said fiercely and stepped in front, Catley's grip became much stronger while the other four with them prepared themselves for the attack.

Selene couldn't help beaming with happiness and she declared with a wide smile,

"You're all wonderful."

She felt like a girl being showered by presents and the unbridled adoration of her family and friends, this reaction was extremely odd for the life and death situation they were in especially when it was her own life on the line.

Selene left the encirclement of her staff and stepped out into the open even the assassin questioned her mental health.

"You're that eager to die eh, Little Missy?"

Selene chuckled and turned her head sideways showing her refusal. The assassin was immediately on alert but couldn't have prepared for what happened next.

All he saw was her eye emitting an omnious yellow glow and it was over.

......

"They're over here." The Bodyguards who survived the staircase ran to Selene's location only to stumble upon an alarming scene, their eyes widened in horror at what they were looking at.

The assassin was completely disarmed, walking on all fours and barking like a dog. Edward stood in the corner, her arms gripping the automatic rifle while the rest of the servants watched as Selene played mock game of fetch with the unfortunate assassin.

"Good boy!" Selene praised him after he brought his own shoe in his own mouth.

"You're a wonderful dog. Thank you." Selene gestured to the Bodyguards who took the assassin away while he was being dragged off, he looked around excitedly wagging his tongue like a madman.

Those who knew what happened cursed his fate, everyone looked at Selene with questions.

But she didn't even have the answers they were looking for.

Powerful rumbles that sounded like thunder reverberated throughout the mountains, they all heard it and the urgency returned.

.....

Ives carried Silva in his arms throughout the journey down, she wrapped her arms round his neck like a frightened girl unwilling to let go.

Rhea followed close by, tired but grateful they survived this ordeal.

"Ives. When you do it how does it feel like?" Rhea questioned desperately wanting to understand the nature of his supernatural abilities.

"I stop being a person." Ives coldly stated, drawing Rhea's surprise and further intrigue.

"What do you become?"

"I become whatever I need to be."

"How does that work?"

"I change whether or not anything I pick is real."

The answer left Rhea, Silva and those listening shocked, what he was implying was practical omnipotence.

"Doesn't that mean you can do anything then?" Rhea couldn't stop counting the possibilities.

"Maybe but it is still difficult to use. Everytime I have to push against reality itself to actualize what I wish

and that is extremely heavy. Far less taxing when it is for something simple but I highly doubt I can perform world changing miracles without causing some serious issues."

Ives defined his limits to show his trust and to discourage them from getting any big ideas.

"Can you bring back Dad?" Silva was the one who asked this question. Rhea recoiled knowing Ives' romantic engagement with their mother and all the numerous complications reviving Julio could bring even their escorts were perplexed fearful that Ives could be offended by her request.

Ives answered with understanding, "I don't know, this is my first time actually using my ability but if you give me some time, I will train and see if it is possible."

Ives looked to the side, seeing the body of the bodyguard who protected Silva covered with his jacket being pulled with a sled by his companions.

'I might have a favour to repay.'

"How did you get your powers?" Silva begin her own barrage of questioning.

"Something happened awhile back that allowed me to see and experience things I couldn't before, I used the opportunity to influence one particular thing about myself that was how I learnt how to do what I do that is all I can say."

The Base of the slope appeared in their sights, there the local police along with emergency services, the news, curious bystanders and the rest of the Arman squad were waiting.

"This is my stop." Ives declared to their surprise, Silva protested.

"Running off isn't the best option now. There could still be enemies around!"

"That is why I have to go." Ives said with finality and Silva knew better than to argue.

He gave her to one of the bodyguards, he laid his hands on her and Rhea.

Ives actualized his vision, a strong disturbance occurred in the surrounding area before settling.

Suddenly, the bullet embedded in their wounds slid out and healed at an incredible pace till it disappeared.

He did the same for the other guards only giving a pitiful look at the deceased among them.

'Not now' He stood himself.

"I'll be back before dinner." Ives told the two girls before heading back up the mountain.
