Louis POV
My whole body feels stiff with imploding waves of hurt and anger. My parents were here, unexpected and uninvited.
I wasn't a filial son, I'd accept and admit that much. They had caused me so much pain throughout the years and I really had successfully forgotten them.
But now they sat alongside me on the dining table. Actually, the whole family was here. I was trying my best to reel in my actual emotions and expressions, to ignore them as much as necessary but I couldn't help it.
"Son..," my father started. He was cutting up a piece of steak as he spoke.
I didn't let him finish. "Since when was I your son?"
Grandma cleared her throat at the same time her husband dropped his cutleries in a sharp hiss. They were not pleased with my response.
My jaw sets from unspoken words. If they were uncomfortable now, they wouldn't like what I had to say next.
