Chapter 1
Ella walked gently into the garden.
The night sky was beautiful, and the fresh breeze brushed softly against her face, carrying her long blonde hair in every direction it pleased.
But her attention wasn't on the sky.
It was on Henry.
His black eyes were fixed on the girl he was kissing, completely unaware of Ella standing there — speechless — as tears slowly rolled down her cheeks.
Her golden-brown eyes widened in shock at the scene before her.
"I knew he was always going to be a playboy… but why? Why did I still fall in love with him?"
She spoke calmly, though her heart was breaking, as she turned and ran in the opposite direction of the garden.
She wiped her tears, but they refused to stop falling.
"This was not the plan. This was not the plan at all. How did I end up in this situation after all my years of hard work to enter this college?"
Her voice dropped to a whisper.
"Henry Hordesen… I'll make sure you pay forever for even thinking of cheating on me."
