They stood there in the corridor, the silence between them no longer tense, just... quiet.
Then Uriel turned and walked toward their bedroom.
Lin Yue followed. "Where are you going?"
"To sulk."
She stopped. "What?"
He did not look back. "You heard me."
She stared at his back as he disappeared through the doorway.
A moment later, she heard the bed creak.
She walked to the door and peered inside.
Uriel was lying face down on the bed, his face buried in the pillow.
"Uriel."
No response.
"Uriel, what are you doing?"
A muffled voice came from the pillow. "Sulking."
She bit back a smile. "You are the prince. Princes do not sulk."
He turned his head just enough to glare at her with one eye. "Princes do whatever they want. Right now, I want to sulk."
She walked to the bed and sat on the edge. "Are you going to be like this all day?"
"Maybe."
She reached out and poked his shoulder. "Uriel."
He groaned and buried his face again.
