A pulse emanated from it. It oscillated in short waves making a buzzing sound with each oscillation.
Debris of sand and furniture vibrated. Nathan and Mark noticed the vibration and looked at Ora. Sara slowly got up and looked at the scared look in Ora's eyes.
A man appeared in the blink of an eye and wrapped his arms around Mark and Nathan. With his other hand, he grabbed Ora's hand and teleported them out of there.
"Ryan?" Ora said and shoved the man. Nathan and Mark were crawling on the floor when they noticed they were somewhere else.
"Take me back," Ora yelled at the man.
"You are not ready," The man said and Ora walked away.
"Where are we?" Nathan asked as he and Mark got on their feet.
"You are in the lighthouse," Ryan said to Mark and Nathan.
Nathan looked at the spacious room too big to be a light house. There were huge windows that let in sunlight. The room had no decorations or distinct ornaments.
It looked like a model home. As they looked around Ryan put his hands over their faces. A white light beamed from his hand.
This took seconds, when Ryan was done Nathan and Mark stared at him with a frown.
"What is going on?" Mark asked.
"You guys passed out outside my house. Can I get you guys anything?" Ryan said.
"No, thanks but we are fine," Nathan said.
As he walked away, Ryan guided him towards the front door and Mark was right behind him.
Ora came back minutes later to see that Mark and Nathan were gone.
She stared at Ryan and he looked at her.
"Oh my God, you wiped their memories," Ora said and walked back out.
"Listen, I had no choice," Ryan tried to explain as he followed her.
"First you orbed me without my permission, then you wiped my teammates' memories," Ora complained and walked into a room. She slammed the door behind her.
Ryan knocked.
"You have no boundaries, just orb yourself in," Ora said and fell on the bed.
"I had no choice, we are supposed to be a secret," Ryan explained.
"Besides, we can't be chasing the source. I know he killed your sisters but you are not ready to face him," Ryan added.
"If you had let me take out the dark priest he would not be crowned," Ora said.
"That will just delay his return a few days, months at most. We need to destroy him forever," Ryan explained from the other side of the door.
He listened in but when Ora did not respond he walked away.
Meanwhile, in the cul-de-sac in North Dakota. Sara looked around for traces of where Ora and the others had disappeared to.
As she looked around she found Ora's portal key and picked it up.
She walked out and Mazikean, Festus, and Zax watched from a parked car.
The sun was just coming out and Sara was walking home.
She noticed someone following her but stayed calm. Immediately she entered her house she locked the door.
She sighed and immediately the hair behind her neck stood up. She quickly turned and lifted her hand.
Before she could do anything and overwhelming force brought her to her knees. Mazikean walked over to her and caressed her face.
Sara tried to get up but it felt like she was being held down.
"Bring here," Mazikean opened the door and said. Festus and Zax walked in. Festus hit her in the face and knocked her out cold.
Zax then carried her to their car. As they walked away a neighbor saw them and called the cops.
"No need, we are already here," Mazikean said to the elderly woman. On the other side of the call, a representative spoke but the woman just hung up.
