He knelt and checked, finding that the stubble-faced man was no longer breathing.

She hated it when people pointed guns at her.

The short, fat man slowly stood up. Just as he was about to turn, he suddenly raised a gun hidden in his sleeve.

Daniel Hale's face paled. He was aiming for Nina Jacobs!
Two gunshots rang out.
The short, fat man looked down in disbelief at the hole shot through his chest.
Meanwhile, Nina Jacobs had perfectly dodged his shot.

'How could she possibly have dodged that?'
