(MASON'S POV)
Blue's fingers slipped through mine with effortless certainty, his hand warm and steady around my own. The simple touch grounded me instantly, like he was telling me without words that nothing in this world could take me away from him.
He gave my hand a small squeeze and guided me forward through the crowd toward the glowing house. Victor walked at his other side, calm and confident, moving through the gathering like he already knew every face there.
And the deeper we went, the more the entire place seemed to notice us.
Conversations quieted.
People turned.
The crowd slowly parted ahead of us, almost instinctively. Fairies hovered in midair with translucent wings fluttering in the lantern light, their curious eyes locked on me. Elves stood tall among the gathering, silver and golden hair gleaming as whispers spread softly between them. Even the enormous wolves guarding the entrance lifted their heads, watching us carefully with bright, intelligent eyes.
