"Let's talk in my room," Alexander said quietly.
Without answering, I turned and walked out.
Instead of following him to the master bedroom, I entered my guest room.
I stopped in the middle of the room and turned to face him.
"What do you want to say?" I asked coldly.
Alexander didn't answer immediately.
He simply stood there, studying me for a long moment before finally walking closer.
"Aunt Angela helped Karen get into the company because she wanted to set us up."
He paused.
"But no matter how stubborn Aunt Angela is... you know she would never hurt a child."
"Really?" I let out a bitter laugh.
"I don't think so."
"She already told me herself that she never wanted me to have your child."
He fell silent, clearly taken aback.
