With everyone continuing their training in preparation, it didn't take long for the rating game between the Gremory group and the Astaroth group
"So then everyone, how has your training been going?" Rias asked as they made their way to the stadium in a limousine
"Kiba and I have managed to create a few combination moves, spreading his blades around and hitting them with my lightning we can make a bug zapper, using the power of Suzaku with his water blades we can create steam explosions in specific locations and Kiba has also managed to create a enchantable blade that can store different types of magical energy" Akeno answered
"I based it off of Blaze's ability to use other peoples abilities, although at the moment it cannot use the full power of the original magic it does allow me to use these abilities on my holy demonic swords, at the moment I have only used Akeno-sans lightning and Suzaku but they are more powerful than my normal lightning and fire blades, theoretically I should be able to use Rias-Buchou's power of destruction, although I do not think that I will have the ability to use it that well given that I have to make sure that the blade doesn't break, and given the strength of the power of destruction I believe it will be difficult, but I believe I will be able to do it in the future with enough training" Kiba explained
"Very impressive, both of you" Rias praised "just tell me when you wish to train and I will help you with your experiments and training" she smiled at Kiba "Koneko, how is your training going?"
"It is going well, thanks to the training manual that Bikou gave Blaze my touki training has been coming along well, it's also thanks to Blaze telling me the truth behind onee-sama that I am no longer afraid of my power, as such things have been going smoothly and my power has been growing fast but steadily" Koneko responded
"My training has been progressing really well" Xenovia proclaimed proudly "thanks to my new familiar I have been able to fight against a foe whenever I need one if Kiba's not available, which is much better than just practicing on my own, plus I can even use my spirit as a second weapon alongside Durandel so I can duel wield, and since it's my familiar it synchronises with me well so I have the choice of control with Zan, power with Durandel or speed using them both"
Next Caspera spoke up "unfortunately my training has not been as exciting as everyone else's, my base abilities have improved under the tutelage of the vampire trainer Azazel organised for me, and he has also been helping me control my sacred gear better, as such I have discovered that by closing an eye I can control my forbidden Balor view to slow down my target rather than completely stopping them, as such I have been exploring the possibilities of using this in new ways but don't have any solid tactics as of yet"
"Well at least you have something new to talk about" Blaze sighed "apart from Linge nothing has really changed for me, my base abilities have been increasing due to working out in the gym and I've been sparring with Xenovia to increase my battle experience and getting used to using Ascalon as both a blade and gauntlets, but other than that nothing new has really come about"
"That's nothing to worry about" consoled Rias, her hand resting on top of Blaze's "your powers are already incredibly powerful just as they are, with your strength increasing your base stats and battle experience is the best thing that you can do" Rias smiled "as for me, I have been looking through the archives in the Gremory main estate to find out ways to use my Gremory bloodline abilities, as such I have found out that I can use my powers to enhance anyone who is in my peerage by letting them bathe in the moonlight from a moon created by my powers, with the area enhanced being based on the phase of the moon that I use, for example a full moon will enhance all areas by a small amount, a new moon increases a persons stealth, a waxing crescent focuses on attack power whereas a waxing gibbous enhances defence, all of the moons are different" Rias explained "as for the rest I will tell you at another time, as we appear to have arrived" the limousine coming to a halt
As they stepped out of the vehicle they were met with a thunderous wave of cheers
"Rias-sama, good luck today"
"Akeno-sama please step on me, I'll be your loyal dog"
"Blaze-sama, please do your best, show off the power of a futa"
"Koneko-chan, I'm cheering for you"
"Kiba-kyun, your so handsome, please call me"
"Xenovia-san where can I get that outfit? it looks so cool and I want one"
"Caspera-san, please hypnotise me and make me your slave"
"Wow, there really are all types of fans here aren't there" Blaze noted with an awkward smile as she waved to the crowd
"You unfortunately get used to it" Rias commented from the side with an equally forced smile, Akeno chuckling as she seemed to enjoy seeing how awkward some peoples cheers made us
Soon the group arrived in the waiting room, the rating game drawing nearer and nearer
"So have the higher ups said what the rules will be this time?" Xenovia asked
"Not yet" Rias replied "it seems like they wish to treat this as a sort of training for the younger devils so that they are ready for anything when it comes to rating games"
"The fact that it also seems to have increased the amount of viewers also seems to have had a part in this decision" giggled Akeno
"Well then, no point in wondering about something that we don't know, let's get ready for anything" Blaze shrugged
"Blaze is right, we must be ready for anything, but one thing is for sure, we are going out there to win, no matter what kind of rules await us" Rias smiled confidently
"Right" Everyone responded in unison, preparing in their own ways as the time to the rating game continued to tick closer.
