Chapter 3 - Chapter 2: The Secret Behind The Darkness (Extended)

The night air was freezing cold.

I was standing outside the wedding hall, my white dress moving slowly with the wind like a lost memory in the darkness.

My heart was still breaking.

Daniel had left me in front of everyone.

Five years of love…

Five years of trust…

All turned into dust in a single moment.

But the strangest thing was the man standing beside me.

Arman Khan.

He was silent.

Dangerous.

And strangely… familiar.

"Who are you?" I asked again, my voice shaking.

Arman didn't answer immediately.

Instead, he looked at the dark empty street, like he was listening to something I couldn't hear.

"This place is not safe," he said finally.

"You must leave right now."

"Why should I trust you?" I asked.

"You are a stranger."

He slowly turned toward me.

His dark eyes were glowing faintly under the street light.

"Because," he said slowly,

"I have been protecting you since you were born."

My heart skipped a beat.

"What do you mean?" I asked.

Arman stayed silent for a few seconds.

Then he spoke again.

"Five hundred years ago… we were not ordinary humans."

My breath stopped.

"You… and me?"

"Yes."

He stepped closer.

"You were born into the Moon Blood Line — an ancient royal bloodline that controls the balance between light and darkness."

My head started spinning.

"You are not just Aisha," Arman continued.

"You are the last living heir of that bloodline."

I couldn't speak.

"And I…" he said quietly,

"I am a vampire assigned to protect you."

My body trembled.

"You are… a vampire?" I whispered.

He nodded slowly.

"I have watched over you in every life. Every time you were reborn… I found you again."

Tears filled my eyes.

"Then why did you let Daniel hurt me?" I asked.

Pain flashed in Arman's eyes.

"Because Daniel is not what you think he is."

Just then, a loud sound came from the dark street behind us.

Slow footsteps.

Arman immediately pulled me behind him.

The wedding hall lights behind us suddenly went off.

Total darkness.

Then a slow, cold voice echoed.

"Aisha… you should have stayed with me."

My blood ran cold.

Daniel walked out of the shadows.

But something was different.

His eyes were darker.

More dangerous.

"I told you to stay away from her," Arman said coldly.

Daniel smiled slowly.

"You cannot protect her forever," Daniel said.

"Because she belongs to both of us… in different ways."

I felt dizzy.

"Stop!" I shouted.

"I don't belong to anyone!"

Both men went silent.

Then suddenly…

The ground started shaking slightly.

I felt a strange pain inside my chest.

Like something inside me was waking up.

Something ancient.

Something powerful.

A silver light started glowing softly from my chest.

Both Arman and Daniel looked shocked.

Because they knew…

The Moon Blood Power was awakening.

And once it fully awakened…

The world of vampires would never be the same again.
