Chapter 91 - Chapter 2: Uno-Reverse!

The training field at U.A. High School was unusually crowded.

Not just Class 1-A.

Not just Tomura Shigaraki, Dabi, and Kurogiri.

But also teachers watching from the sidelines.

Because apparently when villains attend gym class, the staff gets nervous.

At the front of the field stood Shota Aizawa, scarf wrapped loosely around his shoulders.

He pointed toward the mock city buildings.

"Combat exercise."

Everyone stretched and prepared.

Kirishima cracked his knuckles.

"Let's go!"

Denki looked terrified.

"I'm gonna get blasted."

Midoriya already had his notebook out.

I raised a hand.

"…Before we start?"

Aizawa glanced at me.

"Yes."

"I think Himiko Toga might be coming back."

Silence.

Then Dabi groaned.

"…Already?"

Shigaraki scratched his neck.

"She moves fast."

Kurogiri simply folded his hands.

"She is quite determined."

Aizawa sighed.

"We'll deal with it if it happens."

Great.

That was reassuring.

Training Begins

Aizawa clapped once.

"Start."

Immediately chaos broke out.

Kirishima charged toward the obstacle buildings.

Denki fired small bursts of electricity while dodging.

Mina bounced across rooftops with acid blasts.

Midoriya moved carefully, analyzing everyone's movements.

And somehow…

The villains joined too.

Shigaraki sat on top of a building watching.

Dabi casually shot small bursts of blue flame at training drones.

Kurogiri opened tiny portals to redirect projectiles.

I teleported across rooftops trying to keep up with everything.

POP.

POP.

POP.

Every jump felt easier than before.

More controlled.

Like the air itself was starting to listen to me.

I landed on a building next to Dabi.

He glanced at me.

"You're getting better at that."

"…I think so."

Then something strange happened.

A drone fired a training blast toward Denki.

He didn't see it.

Instinct kicked in.

I reached out.

The air warped—

But instead of teleporting myself…

The blast disappeared.

Then it reappeared behind the drone.

BOOM.

The drone exploded.

Everyone froze.

Denki blinked.

"…Did that just save me?"

I stared at my hands.

"…I didn't teleport."

Dabi leaned forward slightly.

"…You redirected it."

Across the field, Midoriya shouted excitedly.

"THAT WASN'T A TELEPORT!"

He started writing rapidly.

"That was spatial displacement!"

Shigaraki stood up on the rooftop.

"…You moved the attack."

I blinked.

"…I can do that?"

Experimenting

Aizawa pointed toward another training drone.

"Try again."

The drone fired.

I focused.

The air bent.

The blast warped—

Then suddenly appeared above the drone.

BOOM.

The machine exploded.

Denki screamed happily.

"REN JUST UNO-REVERSED THE LASER!"

Kirishima laughed.

"That's so manly!"

Mina bounced onto the rooftop next to me.

"Ren that's AWESOME!"

Even Kurogiri looked intrigued.

"A fascinating development."

Dabi smirked.

"Kid just unlocked attack reflection."

Shigaraki scratched his neck again.

"…That's annoying."

I looked at my hands again.

Teleportation.

Portals.

Now… redirecting attacks?

What exactly was my quirk becoming?

And Then…

Suddenly…

The air behind the training field twisted.

A portal opened.

But not mine.

Dark mist.

Everyone turned.

Kurogiri looked confused.

"…That is not my portal."

Out of the portal fell a familiar figure.

Rolling across the grass.

Hair messy.

Knife still in hand.

Himiko Toga popped back up.

She looked around.

Then spotted me immediately.

Her face lit up.

"REN!"

Denki screamed.

"HOW DID SHE GET BACK ALREADY?!"

Toga pointed excitedly.

"You teleported me to the city!"

"…Yes."

"It was fun!"

Then she charged.

Again.

Knife raised.

Everyone prepared for another chase.

But this time…

I raised my hand calmly.

The air warped.

Toga suddenly stopped mid-run.

Because a portal opened directly under her feet.

She dropped through it.

"WAI—"

FWOOOM.

The portal closed.

Silence returned.

Denki stared at me.

"…Where did she go this time?"

I thought for a moment.

"…The beach."

Mina burst out laughing.

"You gave her a vacation!"

Dabi shook his head.

"I cannot believe this is real."

And far away…

On a quiet beach near the ocean…

Another portal opened.

Toga fell into the sand.

She sat up.

Looked around.

Waves crashing.

Sun shining.

She smiled again.

"…Ren teleported me again!"

She stood up happily.

"I'll just find him again!"

Back at the training field…

I suddenly got that bad feeling again.

Denki noticed.

"…Don't tell me."

I looked toward the horizon.

"…She'll probably be back."
