Chapter 115 - Chapter 5: Reflection Fear

It didn't hurt as much anymore.

The wound, I mean.

It was bandaged, cleaned, and already starting to close thanks to Recovery Girl's help.

But that wasn't the problem.

I sat on the edge of my bed, staring at my hands.

They were steady.

Too steady.

"…She has it…"

My voice came out quieter than I expected.

Across the room, Kaito leaned against the wall, arms crossed.

"…Yeah."

Silence.

The Realization

I clenched my fist.

"…She can turn into me now."

Saying it out loud made it worse.

More real.

More dangerous.

Kaito didn't joke.

Didn't brush it off.

"…Not just how you look," he said. "How you move. How you fight. How you think."

I nodded slowly.

"…And maybe more."

That part sat heavy in the air.

What That Means

A knock came at the door—

Then it opened before I could answer.

"Ren!"

It was Izuku Midoriya, already holding a notebook.

"I've been analyzing what happened—"

He stopped mid-sentence.

"…You look… off."

I let out a small laugh.

"…Yeah. I wonder why."

He stepped in, more serious now.

"…It's about Himiko Toga, isn't it?"

I nodded.

"…She got my blood."

Midoriya's grip tightened on his notebook.

"…Then she can transform into you."

Kaito added quietly:

"And not just for a few seconds."

Midoriya's expression darkened.

"…If she has enough…"

"…She can stay that way for a while," I finished.

The Fear Sets In

I stood up slowly.

"…Do you guys understand what that means?"

They didn't answer.

So I did.

"She could walk into U.A. looking exactly like me."

"She could talk like me."

"Act like me."

I swallowed.

"…And no one would know."

Silence filled the room.

Midoriya's voice came out low.

"…That's infiltration on a completely different level…"

Kaito looked toward the window.

"…Or worse."

I didn't want to say it.

But I did anyway.

"…She could use my abilities."

That made both of them freeze.

Can She Use My Power?

Midoriya stepped forward quickly.

"…Wait—your quirk—your spatial distortion—it's not normal. It's not something that can just be copied easily—"

"…But it is part of me," I interrupted.

He stopped.

"…Yeah…"

I looked down at my hands again.

"…And she doesn't just copy appearances."

I remembered her voice.

Her words.

"Now I can understand you better…"

My stomach twisted.

"…She learns."

The Worst Case

Kaito spoke quietly.

"…If she figures out even a fraction of what you can do…"

Midoriya finished the thought.

"…Then we're dealing with two of you."

Silence.

Heavy.

Uncomfortable.

Real.

I shook my head.

"…No."

They both looked at me.

"…Worse."

I looked up.

"…She doesn't hesitate."

That hit harder than anything else.

Because it was true.

I held back.

I thought.

I doubted.

She didn't.

The Mental Pressure

I sat back down, running a hand through my hair.

"…I spent all that time learning control…"

"…and now she might just… skip that part."

Midoriya clenched his fist.

"…We won't let that happen."

Kaito nodded.

"…Yeah. We'll figure something out."

But I wasn't convinced.

Not fully.

Because this wasn't just about strength anymore.

It was about identity.

Control.

Trust.

A New Kind of Threat

I looked toward the window.

"…How do you fight someone who looks like you?"

No one answered.

"…How do you stop someone who might become you?"

Still nothing.

The Decision

I stood up again.

Slowly.

More serious now.

"…Then I just have to get stronger."

Midoriya blinked.

"…Ren—"

I cut him off.

"…Not just stronger."

I clenched my fist.

Space flickered faintly around it.

"…Better."

Kaito raised an eyebrow.

"…What do you mean?"

I looked at both of them.

"…If she can copy me…"

"…then I'll become something she can't copy."

Silence.

Midoriya's eyes widened slightly.

"…You mean… evolving your abilities even further…"

I nodded.

"…Exactly."

Final Scene

Far away—

On a rooftop overlooking the city—

Himiko Toga stood quietly.

The cup was empty now.

She wiped a small trace of red from her lip.

Her body shifted.

Twisted.

Changed.

And slowly—

Piece by piece—

She became him.

Same face.

Same eyes.

Same stance.

But the smile—

Was completely different.

"…Ren~"

She looked down at her hands.

Flexed her fingers.

A small distortion flickered.

Weak.

Unstable.

But there.

Her smile widened.

"…Let's see what I can do."
