Chapter 96 - MCA Chapter 96: You Are a Pile of Crap

The Land of Rain.

With a bang, the Gedo Statue beneath Madara's feet was summoned away.

Madara fell down directly.

White Zetsu popped up, looking at the disappeared Gedo Statue with some confusion: "Lord Madara?"

Madara landed on the ground, stepping out a small pit. He looked towards the Hidden Rain Village in the Land of Rain, a smile curling on his lips: "It's Nagato. The Rinnegan I transplanted into him has completely awakened."

"Interesting, truly interesting. Nagato, I'm starting to have some expectations for you."

Following behind, Tsunade and the others, who were being escorted by Ninja Cats and White Zetsu clones, also reacted.

Tsunade stared blankly at the suddenly vanished Gedo Statue: "That monster disappeared?"

"The chicken soup is here!"

Fried Rice carried a pot of black chicken soup towards Kiyomi.

Suddenly, it turned into a puff of smoke right in front of Tsunade and Kiyomi.

Tsunade realized something was wrong; Fried Rice was a summoned Ninja Cat, and it had been summoned away.

The ancient giant beneath Madara had also emitted summoning smoke; it too belonged to the category of Summoned Beasts.

Could it be that this ancient giant is the Sage of Six Paths's Summoned Beast?

But how was it summoned away?

Why was Madara rushing towards the Land of Rain? What exactly is here?

Tsunade suddenly remembered what Sage Fukusaku had said: Madara's eyes are a Mangekyo that never goes blind, yet those Eternal Mangekyo were not in Madara's eye sockets.

He came to the Land of Rain to retrieve his eyes!

...

Hidden Rain Village battlefield.

A wooden giant resembling withered wood suddenly appeared. Bandages were wrapped around its head where the eyes would be, and there were stump-like protrusions on its back.

With its hands on the ground, it looked like an ancient demon or god.

Hanzo, Danzo, the Amegakure Anbu, and the members of Root all froze, staring in shock at the suddenly appearing giant.

Hanzo felt his whole body trembling with fear: "What is this?!"

Danzo's expression instantly darkened.

From the intelligence Minato brought, this was the ancient giant by Madara's side. Back then, even the Sannin and the Summoned Beasts of the Three Great Sage Regions together couldn't injure this monster in the slightest.

This thing... is suspected to be the Sage of Six Paths's Summoned Beast.

Chakra Black Rods, shaped like spikes, extended from the Gedo Statue's abdomen and stabbed fiercely into Nagato's back.

Nagato's Chakra and life force were being drained on a large scale by the Gedo Statue, and his entire body shriveled up.

"Nagato—"

Konan held Yahiko's corpse, weeping in pain, feeling deeply powerless.

Nagato and Yahiko were everything to her.

Now that Yahiko was dead and Nagato had become this crazed figure, Konan felt her heart die along with them.

The Land of Rain is a weeping country, and they are a group of weeping people.

Below.

Minato summoned Gamabunta. Standing on Bunta's head, he looked in shock at the Gedo Statue Nagato had summoned.

No need to confirm; Nagato's Rinnegan belongs to Madara.

Because this brown giant used to be by Madara's side.

Bunta took a puff of smoke, then focused his gaze on the Gedo Statue, his expression extremely grave.

"Minato, I can't handle this guy. Back then, Gamaken, Gamahiro, and I could do nothing against this giant."

"If Uchiha Madara were controlling this giant, Jiraiya and the others would have been defeated even faster."

"According to the Great Master, it is the Gedo Statue, the shell of the Ten-Tails!"

Minato suddenly heard of a Tailed Beast he had never heard of before: "Ten-Tails?!"

"Bunta, what is the Ten-Tails?"

Bunta took a puff of smoke and said: "The Great Master can't remember clearly either, but he said the Ten-Tails is... the Sage of Six Paths's Tailed Beast. The Sage of Six Paths was once the Ten-Tails Jinchuriki."

"What?!" Minato was horrified.

Bunta's nose twitched, and he suddenly smelled the mellow aroma of fresh soup: "What's this smell?"

Minato smelled it too and was instantly speechless: "This is chicken soup. Someone is actually drinking chicken soup here?"

Fried Rice appeared on Ryou's shoulder, feeding Ryou chicken soup mouthful by mouthful.

"Master, the people from Kusagakure have come to seek refuge with the Ancestor. They also brought a woman from the Uzumaki family named Uzumaki Kiyomi."

"She is pregnant. I made this chicken soup for her to nourish the pregnancy."

Ryou was stunned: "Uzumaki Kiyomi?!"

Ryou had never heard this name, but he could guess that this person might be Karin's mother, the tragic woman in the original work who was treated as a human pill and bitten to death by Kusagakure.

Bunta drew his large cleaver and slashed towards Ryou's position: "Uchiha Ryou, you brat, you're actually drinking chicken soup? Do you even understand how to drink it?"

"Hurry up and bring it over for me to drink!"

"Bunta, you damn ugly toad, I've wanted to catch you and soak you in wine for a long time."

Ryou grabbed Fried Rice and used Body Flicker to leave. Bunta followed with Minato, determined to snatch Ryou's chicken soup.

They consciously stayed away from Nagato and Hanzo's battlefield to avoid being caught in the Gedo Statue's crossfire.

Nagato had already darkened into the Nagato who wanted the world to feel pain. Now, he cared about no one but Konan!

On the other side.

The Kakashi trio was trying to find a way to restrain Obito.

However, Obito's body was no longer what it used to be. After integrating White Zetsu cells, his Chakra capacity far exceeded that of a Jonin, and with Tobi possessing him, he could even use Wood Release.

The Kakashi trio was essentially Kakashi fighting alone.

Rin was a Medical Ninja, throwing a few Kunai and shuriken on the side just for show, to indicate she was participating.

What about Kurenai? She had been using her Genjutsu against Tobi.

But it had no effect?

White Zetsu can be controlled by Genjutsu; after all, they are Artificial Humans created a thousand years ago by the ultimate Genjutsu, Infinite Tsukuyomi.

But it must be high-level Genjutsu. For example, in the original work, Sasuke used his Sharingan to control White Zetsu and extract key intelligence about Madara and the Eye of the Moon Plan.

But at that time, Sasuke's eyes were the Eternal Mangekyo. Even though White Zetsu are Yang Release organisms derived from Hashirama cells, they couldn't resist the Eternal Mangekyo.

Kurenai's highest-level Genjutsu was only the B-rank Tree Binding Death. This kind of Genjutsu was clearly useless against a White Zetsu like Tobi.

So, like Rin, she threw a few shuriken from a distance, signaling that she too was a Ninja who had fought Tobi.

Kakashi activated his Sharingan, gripping his Ninja Blade and panting heavily as he looked uncomfortably at the calm and collected Tobi across from him.

Tobi trash-talked: "Kakashi, it seems Obito has already surpassed you."

Kakashi said gravely: "What kind of monster are you? Why can you use Wood Release?"

Sharp wooden spikes appeared on Tobi's hand, possessing the property of absorbing Chakra.

After piercing a human body, they could perform a secondary attack where the wood would explode inside the enemy's body; a Root Ninja had been killed by Tobi in exactly this way.

Tobi rubbed his head in confusion and asked Black Zetsu on the left half of his face: "Zetsu, what kind of monster am I?"

Black Zetsu knew Tobi's origin: he was an Artificial Human transformed by the Infinite Tsukuyomi a thousand years ago, having been sealed within the Gedo Statue all along.

He described him thus: "You... are a pile of crap from the Gedo Statue!"

The description was accurate; Tobi had always stayed inside the Gedo Statue's body. If he was pulled out now, what was he if not crap?

Tobi was actually quite happy: "So I'm a pile of crap! No wonder I never feel the urge to go. Crap can't poop out crap."

"(;ↀ⌓ↀ)."

The Kakashi trio was stunned; were they really matching wits and courage with a pile of crap?

Obito felt like dying; he had actually been possessed by a pile of crap.

"Roar—"

The Gedo Statue's roar resounded across the battlefield like thunder, even disturbing the lightning in the sky.

Crackle!

Thunder struck! Heavy rain began to fall!
