THE RED REUNION
𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 and 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 had just gotten to the front of the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 gate , both looking beautiful, dressed like maidens. 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 wore a white long gown, with her blonde wig, still looking beautiful even though trying to subdue it. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 was dressed like she hasn't never dressed. She wore a white gown with pink design, just a little below her knees, her hair tied in a pink scarf, she was truly looking stunning. Except from the fact that she wore a boot, a fucking boot , in a gown. Apparently she wasn't comfortable in heels, which isn't surprising but we both know she just wore it to keep a knife or knives, in there. Beside them was 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 who was supposed to be their escort, dressed like....well, himself.
The guards at the gate quickly stopped them to ask questions.
"Good morning, beautiful ladies, and uhhh.....good sir, what is your business with royalty today? "
"Good morning good sir, my name is 𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚎 and this is 𝙼𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚊, my best friend and 𝙽𝚒𝚔𝚘𝚕𝚊𝚒 , an escort. I was invited by the princess for dinner" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 introduced.
"Ohh, so you're the 𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚎 we were told about. Please forgive our manners" one of the soldiers said
"Of course, of course, no need for that" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 replied
"Thank you. Please sit and await us for just a moment as we confirm from our superior" the soldier requested.
"Yes, please go ahead" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 said as they went to sit. As you obviously can imagine, the big city has a big gate and there's a building beside the gate, it's like it's own house. Not long later, the soldier arrived and opened the gate to them but only stopping 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 who wasn't invited and this was part of the plan. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 too wasn't invited but was allowed to accompany her inside the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 and wait in the mansion as she goes for the dinner. She was only allowed because the night before, she accompanied 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 to see 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊, so she was a familiar face, also part of the plan.
𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 accompanied 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 inside and waited in the mansion, as she goes for the dinner. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 waited in a balcony, very high above the ground. She was using this opportunity to take in the beautiful view of the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 from up there. It was a newer and better perspective of the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 she has had since she came to 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎. She had never viewed the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 from inside the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 , it was her first time here anyways, she realized 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 wasn't exaggerating back when he told her about it. It was indeed the most aesthetically pleasing sight she had even gazed her eyes upon. Moments later, everything silent, subtle and soothing, wind drove the atmosphere, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 had just taken the last breath-in of the beautiful sight and was getting ready to put their plan to action. 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 was still sitting outside the gate, impatiently waiting, patting his feet against the floor. The soldiers at the gate were just talking and having a normal day, everything was normal, every soldier, every guard, every maid having a normal day. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 was waiting for a sign before she makes any move, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 too was waiting for a sign, he was stretching his neck, to see if anyone was approaching from outside the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 then suddenly, he stopped, his face lightened, he slowly nodded and then stood up starting waving at 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 from distance, the soldiers were confused but just left him alone, I mean, it's just waving right?. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 got the signal and exhaled sharply, she then walked her way through the balcony to the side where the dinning room was, two soldiers were guarding the door, she quickly walked back before she got noticed. Then all of a sudden Queen 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 walked out of the door and one of the guard walked with her as she left, then 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 quickly walked towards the guard. The guard was confused and asked;
"What are you doing here? " very quietly, not to disturb the dinner. She then looked at her left and then her right, if anyone was approaching, no one was then she swiftly hit the guard on his throat, making him to choke as she quickly grabbed him, covered his mouth so he doesn't disturb the dinner and quietly laid him to the floor. Then she rose up, arrange her dress, she's going to see the princess after all and then she got ready to knock.
Moments ago, at home, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜, 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎, 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 and 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 had just finished preparing everything, about to leave, all on their horses. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 and 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 were to take the secret route into the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 , meet up with their inside soldiers who already gathered and was waiting for them, so they can attack from the inside. Then 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 , 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 and 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 were to attack with their soldiers from the outside, giving the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 absolutely no chance.
"See you on the other side " 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 said to 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 as they were about to part ways. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 nodded and rode his horse away, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 followed. 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 and the rest then went their seperate ways, riding to the gate. 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜, 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎, 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 had gotten closer to the gate, so they came down their horse and tried to blend in, like normal passersby, and at the same time looking for 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗. Moments later, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 sighted him, sitting near the gate and 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 just waiting for 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 to notice him because he wasn't trying to make himself seen and draw attention, so he just waited in an obvious spot he believed was easy to notice. He waited for some minutes, was getting impatient after seeing 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 stretching his neck around, then finally he noticed him. 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 seeing 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 was a cue that everything was set for the 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 to go in, and that included, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 and the soldiers at front being in position and also 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 with his soldiers, approximately, in position too at the back.
𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 was relieved and then saw 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 standing up to just wave at the gate or rather at the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕. 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 was shocked and said;
"Is that it?, the signal?, just to fuckin wave like a duck? "
"I guess" 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 replied.
"Whose idea is this? " 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 pressed
"You wouldn't believe it" 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 said sarcastically
"Of course it was his, such a dumbass" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 uttered
"Who on earth is allowing 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 bring ideas? " 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 asked
"It's gotta be Lord 𝙻𝚒𝚞 , she's the only one that can cope with his slowness" 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 released
"That's a little harsh, don't you think" 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 pointed out
"Shut up, you're not any better " 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 flung back, 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 chuckled and said;
"There's no way you're still mad about that bar "
"Alright that's not enough guys. Our cue will be here anytime now, be focus " 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 stopped and then he thought in his mind;
"Whatever happened to being scared of the war, now they're just super comfortable with it. We probably made them feel too safe, can't tell if that's bad or not, anyways, doesn't matter as long they survive "
𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 and 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 had just gotten to the vast empty field, where the route was built and connected into the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕. The field was very wide , it stretches about a mile, it was bought by Lord 𝙿𝚑𝚒𝚕𝚎𝚖𝚘𝚗 more than a decade ago and through those times, he slowly built an underground route to one of his house in the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕. He did this after the old one was closed because of 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 and that whole incident gave him the idea of the route. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 pulled away a fake grass and underneath it was a mental board with a handle at the top. He then held the handle and pulled harder to open it. When it opened, it was a completely dark hole, leaving 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 surprised but not scared.
"Let's get going! " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 said, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 held out his palm gesturing him to wait and he stood quietly, waiting.
"Why must we?, we don't have much time, we must leave now! " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 stated. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 turned his gaze at him furiously and asked ;
"Are you giving me orders? "
"No but... " he quickly stopped when he saw 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 clenching his fist
"Can you at least tell me what we're waiting for? " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 requested
"Just shut up and wait" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 responded. This spiked 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 but he calmed himself in other not ruin anything. All of sudden they heard horses riding towards them, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 quickly drew his sword about to attack, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 held out his palm once again.
"Enemies approaching, why are you stopping me? " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 probed.
"Because they are with me" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 replied, then 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜, confused, quickly put down his sword. Two young men appeared with horses, came down from it and quickly bowed.
"Lord 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, we're here as you asked" one of the men said, still bowing, none of them even raising their head.
"Good, are you sure you didn't get followed? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 pressed
"Very sure my Lord" the other man assured.
"Very well" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 said
"Who are they, my Lord? " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 asked, becoming skeptical.
"They are nobody, just some soldiers that accompanied me to 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 sometime ago" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 answered, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 wasn't convinced and remained skeptical
"Is there something going on that shouldn't be? " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 enquired
"Did you just ask me that ?" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 pressed
"I'm sorry my Lord but you know I'm obligated to react to things like this" 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 said. Meanwhile the two soldiers were looking surprised, scared for 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 .
"You think THIS is suspicious?, this? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 voiced, laughed, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 was confused, the two soldiers were wondering why 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 still had his head and then 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 continued
"How clueless you are , if I wanted to do something suspicious, do you think I'll be dumb enough to bring you here....Alive?"
Smirk died off his face immediately and he spoke
"You ought to be more careful young man, my impulse compelled me to remove your head. You are lucky I'm getting better".
Everywhere became silent, only the wind was audible and the grasses were dancing around.
"They are here to close the door after we go in and then join the front lines after. Do you understand that? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 explained
"Yes, my Lord, thanks for explaining" 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 said
"Now jump in!!" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 ordered, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 was surprised
"What? " he expressed, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 said nothing and only pointed to the hole. 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 hesitated for a second and then jumped. Inside all he saw was nothing, his feet had just landed and still, nothing. Suddenly he started hearing whispers all over, he quickly drew his sword and yelled
"Who's there?, show your face. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 !!, so you really were up to something, I'm gonna kill you, for sure" and suddenly he felt a knife on his rib and immediately froze, surrendered.
"You see how easy it'll be to murder you?" He heard from behind, then his neck was gripped, he started struggling. Then he was pushed, to the floor.
"Don't you ever speak up to me, you filth " the voice said. 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 was on the floor rubbing his neck and coughing, already recognized the voice.
"How are you moving like that in the dark?" 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 asked and suddenly it became silent , at this point, fear creeped in his heart.
"How am I moving in the dark?, i am the dark" , he sudden heard behind him and swung his sword to that direction but nothing happened, it became quiet again, he just freaked out and started swinging everywhere. Then it was suddenly stopped, then a fire was lit, he saw the face of 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 , and the infamous scary smirk . 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 had stopped his swing with a fire band and lit it. 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 was freaked out, started shifting back.
"Grab this fire band and follow my lead you scaredy wimp" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 ordered, handing him the fire band, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 wavered and then took a deep breath, looked at 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 again, but 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 had his usual face on , then he was relieved and grabbed the fire band, followed 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗.
Moments later, he saw light coming in from above, seeming like an entrance. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 knocked on it and it was immediately opened, then they climbed .
"Lord 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, welcome" the soldiers above bowed and greeted.
"Where are the others? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 asked
"They are prepared and waiting, please come with us " a soldier said. Another handed them cloak to wear so they can be less suspicious and they walked.
Meanwhile inside the dinning room was 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 and 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 , chatting about 𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚊.
"He's hilarious without trying. He's kind, innocent, and a little sweet. You know what? " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 asked, smilling
"What? " 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 asked, curiously
"I actually told him we had sex when he was drunk and he believed it " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 continued
"Really?, ohh he's such an idiot " 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 said
"C'mon, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊, he's your brother " 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 warned
"Oops, sorry " 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 replied as they all laughed and almost immediately, before the conversation could proceed, they heard a knock on the door.
"Ohh, i wonder who that is, let me get it" 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 said, about to stand up.
"No please my princess, let me help" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 offered
"C'mon 𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚎, you're a guest" 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 suggested
"I insist " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 said, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 smiled and spoke
"By all means, please"
𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 stood up and walked up to the door and then...opened, slowly. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 walked in
"Ohh hi, you're the girl from the other night right? , what's your name again.....? "
" 𝙼𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚊? " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 asked 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊. 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 was a little thrown off but anyways she said;
"Yes, I don't think you're supposed to be in here, who allowed you in? " , 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 ignored her and continued
"I still don't understand how you chose that name, you're always using something basic ", she said to 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊. 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 became more confused
"I don't think 𝙼𝚊𝚛𝚒𝚊 is that basic" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, replied
"Oh yes, it is "
"What is going here? " 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 pressed
"Who is she 𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚎? " 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 calmly asked. 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 looked at 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 for a second then turned to them and said
"Okay you both just have to calm down "
"What do you mean? " 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 asked
"What are you saying? " 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 joined.
𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 walked to 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊's side of the table, 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 didn't get her eyes off her. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 then abruptly put one of her leg on table, startling 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 , she pulled a knife off her boot and that's when they freaked out. 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 quickly raised both of her hands, scared and confused. 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 just sat with her eyes wide open, in disbelief, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 walked up to her, exhaled, looked at 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 nodded her head and then 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 held 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 and pinned her on the table. 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊's eyes was still wide open, afraid and perplexed. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 then said
"𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, why did you let the queen go? "
"Well, she decided she no longer had an appetite. What was I supposed to do?, hold her? " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 responded
"𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊?, who.....𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚎 , who the hell is 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊?" 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 asked, shocked
"Don't tell me-.....no, no, no, it's not possible" 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 continued, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 stayed silent
"I don't know what you're thinking but i can assure you, it is possible" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 started, held 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 and pointed a knife at her. 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 who's tears were already dripping, gasped.
"Let me make this easier for both of you, your city is under attack and this kingdom is getting taken over by us, the 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚜-"
"The 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚜?, oh no what are you saying?, there's no way " 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 jumped in, interrupting 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 .
"Shut up. " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 snapped and 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 immediately froze
"I wish I can give you all the details but that might take a long time and we don't have that, just know it's happening and it'll happen, no rescue is coming from anywhere. But you don't have to be too worried, you just have a small task and after that, all you have to do is sit down, stay silent and let it happen because any wrong decision, you will die, I repeat, you will die" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 concluded, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 burst into tears, this time it was rushing out. 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 in deep disbelief and slowly she started piecing everything together
"Is the King still alive? " she calmly asked, they were all surprised.
"Sharp question, I wonder if he is" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 answered
"What about 𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚊? " she asked again
"𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚊!?, what are you talking about 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 , is my father and brother okay? " 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 started uttering while in tears, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 remained silent.
"Why are you doing this? " 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 asked, out of all the question pacing through her mind, that's the one she could get out.
"I told you, I'm not giving you details and also told you to just shut up and do what you're ask " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 said, scowling.
"Now what i want you to do is follow me to that balcony and ask the guards to open the gate" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 instructed
"I'll never do that " 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 voiced.
"Not to a 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗, not ever" she added
"I don't think you understand, what's going on here!, I'll kill you if you don't" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 threatened
"Go on then, i rather die than see the day 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚜 take over " 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 stood by her words
"Ohhh, then I'll keep you alive to see it. You aren't stopping it by not opening that gate, you're only delaying the inevitable. We already have soldiers inside, I mean we already had soldiers inside, for years. For years you've been drinking and fisting with your greatest enemies without your knowledge. I'll keep you alive enough to witness the fall and by my hands I will close those eyes. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 declared then looked at 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 and said;
"You, ask the guard to open the gate now!! "
𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 was frightened and quickly stood up, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 walked up to her and held her as she walked to balcony.
"Don't do anything stupid" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 said, looking deep into her eyes. Then 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 got to the balcony and signaled the guards to open the gate and immediately they did. Then 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 took 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 back inside the room and there they could hear soldiers screaming and fighting from outside. 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 just bowed her head and tears fell out, while 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 was just crying, scared out of her mind, both in total incredulity. One minute they are having dinner , the next there's a war in their midst. Unexpectedly, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 walked through the door and said;
"They you guys are" with blood on him, they were startled.
"Jeezz, you scared me. Where are the rest? " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 asked
"On their way, who are these two? " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 asked
"The princess and the head maid" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 answered. His face lightened and then he asked;
"Can i be the one who kills the princess? " then everybody paused, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 gulped , 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 gasped.
"No, no, no, we're not doing that here" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, finally broking silence
"Why?, they are 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚔𝚜 , why can't i? " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 questioned
"I'm 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚔, are you gonna kill me too" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 flung back. 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 reserved his comments then 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 said;
"Come off it the both of you. 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 help me watch the maid "
𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 walked towards 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 and pointed his sword at her as 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 started undressing, pulled her gown and had only a shirt and short tight on her, there was a slim bag tied to her back, she opened it and drew out her trouser then slowly put it on, she freed her hair and now she felt completely like her self again.
"Why are you doing this 𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚎? , are you a 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗 too? " 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 questioned
"No, I'm 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚔 " she replied
"Then why?, why?, wh-, why are you doing this, why did you decieve us? " 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 enquired, utterly pained.
"It doesn't matter" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 responded looking away from her.
"It doesn't matter?, how can you say that after all of this, you heartless witch, I trusted you, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 trusted you , 𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚊 truste-, were you even really in love with 𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚊?, all those dates and nights out you went with him, were they-"
"Shut up you old witch" 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 interrupted. Everybody looked at 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, shocked, from what they just heard, including 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 who was also in the dark
"𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, what is she talking about? " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 asked, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 lowered her head not giving any answer.
"Is it true?, did you really sneak out with that trash prince? " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 pressed, pained
"This has nothing to do with you 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 mentioned
"It has everything to do with me, as a soldier of 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚎 , you were seeing an enemy?, are you sure you didn't even have sex with him? " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 snapped
"Shut up 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜, I owe you no explanation, you-"
"Alright, alright, that's enough from the both of you!!!. It doesn't matter what's between them, we are here now which means she got the job done anyways, so-"
"I can't-"
"𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜!!! " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 snapped, interrupting 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 who interrupted her. 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 kept quiet, furious to his bones.
"So you did love him" 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 stated, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 was speechless.
"Then why have you done this, why?, why have you done this to someone you love" 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 pressured, crying a little. This is where 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 snapped and said
"Ask your queen, your bitch queen, she did the same, remember???, of course you don't!, of course you don't fucking remember, 'cause he wasn't important right?, he was just some burden you Royal fucks threw like nothing, torture his heart, made him go insane, of course you don't fucking remember!!! "
𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 was shocked, wondering who she was talking about, which kind of proved her point. 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 had no idea what was going on.
"When i see that bitch, I'm gonna rip her fucking face off and feed it to her, 'cause that's what she deserves after what she did to 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 continued, her grip on 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 tightened due to her furiousity , 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 screeched but the grip only got tighter, shewas severely frightened.
"Ohhhh.....𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, i think i remember that name " 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 started, suspense grew.
"Nooo, this can't be real, so you are his sister?, impossible" 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 continued.
"You see now?, karma has come for this house" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 stated. 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 bent her head, planning to pick 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜's knife from his leg, she started moving very slow towards it , 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 noticed and said;
"Don't even think about it"
𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 stopped for a second, then suddenly, she brought out a knife from her gown , trying to stab his leg, he simply, raised his leg over the knife, stumped both her hands and the knife hard, her fingers broke. She screamed.
"Noo, what are you doing!!!!?? " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 yelled, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 cried louder. 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 who was already furious, just got more furious and raised his sword.
"𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 , that's enough, put the sword down" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 ordered. He ignored kept raising the sword, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 quickly realized what he was trying to do and yelled
"Nooo, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 no!!" , he ignored, and then everything slowed, 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊 just closed her eyes and accepted her fate. 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 was still yelling, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 crying, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊's eyes wide open. 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜' sword slowly came down on her neck and bloodily severed her head!.
Blood sprayed over the room, on them, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 held her head, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 passed out, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 rushed, tackled 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 and took the sword off him.
𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜, 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎, 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 were waiting for 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 who was waiting for the gate to be opened. They've been waiting for a while now, starring at 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 who was just still but suddenly he moved, the gate was opened. They saw 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 charge at the gate, they were shock, because at the front of the gate, they were at least five soldiers.
"Ohh, what the fuck is he doing!? " 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 pressed
"Oh my goodness, he's really dumb" 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 said, smacking her forehead. 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 couldn't believe it either, he sighed and said;
"Well, don't just stand there, help him"
They both suddenly ran towards the gate to join him. 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 stood back, turned back at the "normal" looking passersby walking around and yelled
"It is time!, time to take over this city"
They started taking off their clothes and behold they were soldiers. They began to draw their swords and scream.
"For 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚎 !!!! " he shouted
"For 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚎!!" they shouted with him.
"For your home, for your kids, your wives and your future, for the Emperor" he screamed
"For the Emperor" they screamed with him.
"Draw blood!!!! " he screamed in conclusion as they ran beside him, towards the gate. He then took a deep breath, turned around and joined them. When 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 and 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 got to the gate, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 had already taken down the five soldiers there. They both looked at themselves, shocked. Meanwhile 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 was already inside the gate fighting soldiers, as more rushed out because the war bell has been rang.
𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 charged towards a soldier that was charging towards him, he slid under the soldiers swing and sliced his stomach.
"Sorry" he said, quickly as he ran towards another soldier, blocked his swing and said
"Strong grip you got there sir, I'll give you that" , the soldier was confused and swung his sword again, he blocked it again and said
"You're not really the talking type, I see"
He the pushed the soldier back and stabbed him. Another soldier charged at him, swung his sword directed at 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗, he maneuvered over the soldier's back, kicked him from behind as he did a body fient to leave the soldier in front of him unbalanced, then he slashed the soldier with his sword, turned back as the other soldier recovered and try to attack him, he bent backwards to avoid his swing then rose quickly and slashed the soldier.
"Whoops, that was close" he expressed and two more soldiers ran towards him, one swung, his sword coming from upwards, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 quickly deflected and quickly pivoted around the soldier, grabbing the soldier's neck as he turned, and slammed him on the floor as he dodge a swing from the other soldier, blocked the next one and swung his to the soldiers chest, piercing as it drove through. Before the one on the floor could stand up, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 pinned him down with leg and stabbed him. 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 and 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 who just caught up to him was looking at each other in disbelief.
"What....how-, woahh" 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 expressed
"What? " 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 asked
"Uhhh, nothing" he answered
"Dude, fight or something" 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 said, as he ran towards more soldiers.
"Did you see that? " 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 asked
"Yeah, what the hell" 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 replied
"I didn't know he could move like that, might wanna stop bullying him now, no? " 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 suggested to 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊
"That'd be a good idea" she replied as they both chuckled and ran towards the fight. At this time many of the their soldiers were already through the gate. The real war has started, the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 soldiers were trying their best to hold them off but had no chance, they were outnumbered and they were also way weaker. 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 had just gone through the gate watching as the fight unfolds, not having much do.
"What a war this is" he said to himself sarcastically, he then continued running, hoping to get some fight. He sighted from afar a soldier running away from the war, retreating and of course it was a 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 soldier, he took it upon himself to catch this coward, so he ran faster to the soldiers direction, even though it meant having to go through many 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 soldier. He body slammed a soldier out of the way , countered a swing from another one and swept the soldier off his feet with the blunt side of his sword and stabbed him, kicked another soldier before he could even attack, stabbed him too and continued running after that particular soldier, he was getting close and the soldier noticed and ran faster. A soldier charged against 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 with a shield, trying to push him back with it, before the shield made contact, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 turned to the side and left the soldier unbalanced on the way to the floor, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 completely ignored him and just grabbed his shield, threw it against the soldier he was chasing and it hit the soldier on his head, causing him to fall, then 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 ran towards him, the soldier immediately started begging
"Please, please don't kill me, please, I'd do anything" as he was pleading, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 was starting to find him familiar, then 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 chuckled, the soldier was surprised, and then took the opportunity to look at his face properly.
"Weren't you a trainee a few days ago? " 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 asked chuckling
"Youuuu" the soldier recognized
"No way, so you're a soldier too" he added
"I'm sorry for the bar incident, please don't kill me, I swear I'm sorry, I'm still a trainee, I was asked to fight since we were outnumbered, please spare me good sir" he added again, begging for his life
"Ohh, all that money and you're just gonna die like this. You can't even stand for yourself. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 was right, you all are just a bunch of soft, weak wimps, and the irony is that, the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 is supposed to be safer" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 said, disappointed, disgusted even. The soldier just bend his head and had a pleading posture. 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 looked at him with disgust and then said;
"I won't kill you now, I have to show you to my friend" as 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 was saying this, more of their soldiers rushed out from inside, the soldiers that 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 and 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 met with inside the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕. It seemed like they had defeated all the soldiers on the inside and are now out leaving the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 soldiers completely surrounded. 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 noticed this and yelled;
"Halt!! "
Everybody stopped, even the opponents. He looked at the opposition soldiers and continued
"That's enough bloodshed, no more!. Put down your weapons and you shall be spared. Look at around, you've lost, there's no longer hope for you, do not waste your life, surrender" , they started dropping their weapons one by one. Most of the 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗 soldiers were not happy with this, because for some reason they like killing 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚔𝚜, i guess. They all surrendered and was getting tied while the 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚜 rejoiced, shouting, banging their shields and laughing. Meanwhile the soldier 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 chased was still on the floor surprised how mighty he was that every soldier hearken his words and chill drove down spine, thinking how he almost tried fighting him in that bar.
𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 and the soldiers they met at the house were wall walking their way to central 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 (where the war was going to happen), with their cloaks on to blend in. After a while of walking, they entered a huge building, were all the soldiers were gathered for the attack. As 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 entered, they all immediately bowed
"We have no time for this, grab your weapons and follow me " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 ordered, they immediately stood up, removed their cloaks and drew their weapons. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 drew his axe and ran out of the house, they all followed, yelling.
"Kill anything that looks like a threat" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 yelled as they were running towards the central.
Few moments later, it was an all out battle, it has began, everybody was fighting as they proceeded. Another soldier charged at 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, swinging his sword, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 easily dodged and fixed his axe on his head, drew it out casually and kept walking, another soldier charged at him , swung his sword, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 moved to the side, grabbed a shield from one of his soldiers, blocked the next swing with it, pushed the soldiers sword backwards with force , left him lopsided as he buried his axe into the shoulder of the soldier, kicked him as he drew his axe out. This time he ran towards a soldier and pounced on him, landing his shield on the head and his axe on the back as he threw the soldier away and roared. 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 ran towards a soldier, blocked a swing with his shield and removed the head of the soldier, blood rushed from the neck and eventually stained his white shirt, it was full of blood that it almost became red. He proceeded, charged at another soldier, bent to avoid the soldier's swing and then brushed the soldier off the ground with his shield, and buried his sword in the soldier's chest as soon as he reached the floor, he was loving it, the blood of 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚔𝚜.
Many heads later, they were already deep inside the central, defeated almost every soldier there, and the 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚊𝚗𝚜 had barely reduced. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 had just removed his axe from another soldier when he decided to go into the main building.
"𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 , we're both going in to meet up with 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 and 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 said, 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 hesitated and then spoke
"As you wish my Lord" while scowling.
They both entered, and started walking , looking for the dinning room, they didn't know where it was exactly but 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 had a pretty strong idea since he's been here before, more than once. They kept walking, killing any soldier they sighted although they were barely any. One soldier just came out nowhere and charged towards 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 swinging, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 nonchalantly pivoted, leaving the soldier skewed then he grabbed the soldier's head and started bashing it on the wall , while he was doing that, he heard somebody gasped loudly, he slowly looked and lo and behold, once again, it was 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 who had her heads in her mouth. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 starred deep into her, the guard with her quickly charged at 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, she tried to stop him but wasn't quick enough. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 threw his axe and it flew into the soldier's head and immediately killed him. She was scared and drew closer to the wall, knowing there was no where to run.
"𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜, proceed without me" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 commander.
"My Lord, why? " 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 asked, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 turned and glared at him hard. He quickly bowed and he started walking away as 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 drew closer to her. He held her to the wall, she cried;
"Why have you come back, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, why?", 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 ignored
"I'm sorry for what happened 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, i know there's no amount of apologies that can amount for it , but please, stop this madness-"
𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 scowled,interrupting her. He grabbed her by her top and started dragging her around.
"𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, no, please, I'm sorry, i was never happy without you. I couldn't forgive myself after what I did-"
"Sheesh, save it, i want you to say that to 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 after watching the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕 get taken over " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 interrupted her and said.
"What do you mean 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗?, what are you saying?, what have you done? " she started asking , struggling with him, he snapped, picked her up, slammed her on the wall, she coughed, crying. He started fighting his impulses, his face tight, head rapidly shaking, she got scared then he groaned loudly and punched the wall, putting a hole on it.
"Not one more word from you" he warned, she started nodding fast in agreement. He dropped her down and continued to drag her forward.
After everything was settling outside, 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗, 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 and 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 talking and laughing already, the soldiers still chaining the oppositions, the tension dying, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 was heading to the dinning room, with the soldier he captured.
"Where are you taking me to, my good, mighty, good looking, strong, rich , great-"
"Shut the fuck up!!" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 interrupted the soldier, he quickly stopped, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 pushed him further to walk faster. When they got closer, they heard screaming then 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 quickly ran to check. When he got to the door he saw somebody's head seperate from the body, it was the first thing he noticed, he quickly drew his sword. They heard the sound of a sword getting drawn and they looked at him.
"𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜, it's us, put the sword down " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 said, holding 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 and a sword
"Well what the fuck is going here? " 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 pressed and everybody became silent as he took a look at everybody, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 was quietly shedding tears, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 still passed out on the floor, he thought she was dead and again he looked at the head, the face was familiar, took him some seconds but he recalled seeing her drop off 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 and 𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚊 at the bar, he was about to say it but he stopped, attempting to leave it as a secret. He then looked at 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 again, seeing her shed tears was a confirmation and also a step to assessing the situation.
"Is the little girl dead? " he asked, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 shook her head and suddenly the soldier who 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 brought popped his head in the scene and asked
"What's happening? "
Everybody suddenly looked at him, confused.
"Oh..... " he expressed slowly, waving slowly at them.
"Who the fuck is th-, wait....it can't be who I'm thinking" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 stated
"Oh c'mon" the soldier expressed as he recognized her, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 nodded and said
"Indeed it is"
"No way, where'd you find him" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 asked, scoffing a little. The soldier was embarrassed, sighed hard and tried to leave but was held by 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜.
"He was running away from the fight" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 said , the rest of them was confused.
"He's a soldier?, I thought he was a trainee " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 expressed
"Exactly, that's what i said" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 said then quickly snapped back.
"Fuck, anyways....that's not important right now, what happened here? " he continued, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 sighed and explained;
"𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜...., 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 killed the.....that lady"
"Why?.....did she attack him? " 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 asked
"Yeah but we weren't supposed to kill her" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 argued, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 sighed and expressed ;
"Crap, alright, it already happened. Did we need her for something important? "
"No but we can't just be killing everyone like that, she was the head maid in the 𝙲𝚒𝚝𝚊𝚍𝚎𝚕" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 said.
"Right, right. But there's nothing we can do now" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 pointed out, their faces drowned, they agreed.
"So c'mon, let him go 𝙻𝚒𝚞 " 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 requested, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 unhanded him. 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 was trying to wake 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 up but it wasn't working, she became worried.
"Just give her sometime 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 , she'll be back. She only passed out off fear, she'll be fine" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 encouraged, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 sighed and said
"I hope so" as she lets go of 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊
"Alright, let's go guys, the soldiers will clean up after" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 suggested, they all started walking out. 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 and 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 both were carrying 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 out when suddenly heard a scream, they all looked and it was 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊, she ran towards to check on her daughter but was held of by 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, she cried loudly .
"What'd you guys do to her? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 pressed
"She's fine, she's just asleep" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 said
"Asleep? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 asked
"Well....she passed out" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 said, then 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 calmed down, and then slowly, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 eyes began to open, everybody became silent and slowly she rose up, saw her mother and screamed
"Mother!!! "
𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 freed 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 and she ran swiftly to hold her daughter. They both cried
"Mother, what is going on? " 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 asked while sobbing
"It's okay my little dove..."
𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 and 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 suddenly looked at each other after hearing that
"....it's okay, I'm here now" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 replied.
"Mother...𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊..." 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 expresssed slowly
"𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊? , what about her-, wait....where is 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊? " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 asked looking at them, then 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 shifted her body, opening the view of the room for 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 to see. After seeing 𝙲𝚊𝚕𝚒𝚜𝚝𝚊, she held her mouth in utter disbelief, she got even more scared and she cried more.
"What is this madness 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗" she asked as they both held each other crying.
"That wasn't part of the plan " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 briefed.
"𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, what happened? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 asked
"It was -"
"Did you just say 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊?, where is she?" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 interrupted and asked, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 pointed to 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 , 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 started turning back slowly and all she could see was 𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚎
"𝙷𝚎𝚕𝚎𝚗𝚊?" She asked in shock as 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 slowly took off her wig. 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 gasped
"𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 ??! " she expressed as she held her mouth.
"Yes it's me 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 , you witch, don't mention my name" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 warned. 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 cried and expressed;
"𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊, I swear, I've been looking for you everywhere, I'm sorry, i didn't know what i was doing, i was decieved, please-"
"Shut up, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 , you chose the King over us on your own accord nobody forced you. You were our family and you just left like that, not even a goodbye, you ruin our fucking lives and you allow him go through all those pain and torture, you!, 𝙻𝚢𝚔𝚘𝚗 died because of you, stop this drama, you know exactly what you did. I hate you so much,I dedicated my whole life to ruin yours as you did mine" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 snapped, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 just stood there, quiet and so did everyone else.
"That's not true, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊-"
"What did you just say? " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 interrupted 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 furiously
"It's not true, I promise you " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 added , 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 snapped and almost hit her when 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 suddenly held her and said ;
"Let her speak"
"What? " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 expressed
"She's tryna say something" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 said
"Who cares what she's gonna say, I don't-"
"𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊! " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 called and gestured her to calm down.
"Got nothing to lose now" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 then added, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 gave it thought then eventually calmed herself, giving space for 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 to speak ;
"It's painful for you to think my life wasn't ruined too" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 started, everybody was confused, this provoked 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 a little, she just held herself.
"Please, I don't want my daughter to hear what i must say" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 requested
"No mother, I want to hear " 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 countered
"She deserves to know" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 added. 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 exhaled, lowered her gaze and spoke;
"I was never happy...."
"Mother, what? " 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 expressed. 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 looked at her, smiled and continued
"Of course they were times i was happy, like when I had my two beautiful babies.....", touching 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊'sface, 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 was still confused but managed to smile a little
"...But... " she stated as she removed her hand from her face and slowly deleted the smile
".... I never forgot you both, never, i was always thinking about you two, what our lives would've been like, I was never truly happy, I just found myself in a situation I couldn't abstain from" she continued.
"What the fuck are you talking about? " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 pressed
"I'm talking about 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗, my father" she replied
"Yeah, he's dead, he had it coming " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 said, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 stayed quiet for some seconds. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 walked close to 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 and held her shoulder, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 immediately held her tight and sobbed. 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 noticed she's being expressing her pain and frustration with anger, that's why she came to her. She also noticed that was the reason why 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 has been quiet, trying to keep himself in check.
"It was 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗, he planned everything, he made me do it, I had no choice or so i thought" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 stated , looked at 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 who was expressionless and she continued;
"You must remember when 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 came home sick, he told me he was dying and needed a very huge sum of money for the treatment, I was sad and I gave him options of what we can do to get the money, like selling our house, shops, farms and everything to get even a fraction of the money, I told him you'd have agreed to do it since we were family. He refused and said he wouldn't do such to you, taking out everything you've worked hard just because of him and then he gave his option which was to marry the King and of course I quickly rejected and got even mad at him and a few days later he was dying again, this time he was so pale, i thought he was gonna die, and you know i couldn't just watch him die, i had to do something, I'd have done anything to keep him alive, just the same way i would've done for the two of you. I just couldn't let him die, i couldn't... " , she was sobbing. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 exhaled sharply, breaking silence
"Why didn't you just tell me, you know I'd have done anything to save him, I'd have figured something out, but you... "
"I'm sorry 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, I'm sorry, i listened to him which was a mistake, i shouldn't have, I'm sorry" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 kept apologizing. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 sighed and said;
"It doesn't matter anymore, it's over"
"Wait, I'm not done, please listen to me" she pleaded
"Whatever you say now wouldn't matter 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 -"
"It would, please just let me continue " she said. 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 then folded his hands and gestured her to continue
"Thank you... 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗 lied, he lied to me....he, he was such a conniving coward, he played me, his own daughter, betrayed his own family"
"What are you saying 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊" 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 pressed
"He was such a deceitful coward that he went to the extent of poisoning himself"
"𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊, what do you mean? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 asked, curious.
"He inflicted himself, he lied to me, he poisoned himself multiple times just to get me to marry the King, he was ready to die for it" 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 revealed, everybody was shocked.
"What the fuck" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 expressed, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 shook his head.
"Damn, that's fucked up" the bar soldier said and 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 glared at him, he quickly shut up.
"It can't be " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 said in disbelief, more tears fell of 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊's eyes.
"You see, he always had this desire for wealth, and I knew this, that's why I didn't believe him the first time but when i saw him on that bed, my heart ached, i didn't know he would go that far, i didn't know he was ready to kill himself just to get me to marry the King, I didn't know he desired wealth that badly but he was my father , I had to save him, i had to do something, i didn't know it was scheme, how was i supposed to know?, i didn't know it would lead to this, i didn't.... When the King decided to torture you , i begged for days and he never listened. One day i put on a cloak at night and came down there to look for you but you were gone, not dead, gone. I didn't know if I should be happy your misery finally ended or be sad that I've failed and will never see you again to beg for your forgiveness. I never stopped searching for you both, i looked all over 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 and couldn't find you, i didn't know what to think but i never stopped. That is why i allowed him die....yes, my own father, the day he told me all of these, he was critically ill, i had just brought in his medicine when he narrated this,i couldn't believe it, i couldn't believe my own father did this to me. Then i stood at the door and watched him beg for his medicine which i witheld from him, i allowed him get eaten by sickness he inflicted on himself and watched him die the death i tried saving him from. He therefore did not live long to enjoy the wealth he died for, and of course,i cried and had to live with that too, so my life was also in jeopardy.....My life was ruined, but i was helpless, i could do nothing but sit and wondered, and then 𝙴𝚛𝚊𝚐𝚊 came, i had a new purpose, i had to look after him and even then, i still couldn't forget what you went through, i never forgot 𝙻𝚢𝚔𝚘𝚗 , nor 𝙼𝚊𝚣𝚒𝚖𝚒𝚖 , or 𝚆𝚛𝚎𝚡, never will. I never stopped blaming myself for everything and i never will..... "
Everybody's face darkened, shock, disbelief, doubt, pity, rage all over the place, even soldiers that walked into the balcony one by one while she was narrating, felt it, including 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗, 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 and 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎. 𝚃𝚑𝚊𝚕𝚎𝚒𝚊 couldn't believe what she was hearing, this was how her mother married her father.
𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 couldn't pin a particular feeling, he didn't know what to feel and how to react, he became restless. He was in between rage and sadness, in between snapping and tearing but instead he placed both hands on his head, swiftly, held it tight and then laughed, everybody was shocked. He clenched both fists, the laugh died as he started hitting his head, while everyone was shocked , 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 quickly rushed to hold him and said;
"It's okay brother, I'm here, I'm here"
He started to calm down a little as he held her too. 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 sighed and spoke
"It doesn't fucking end does it? , this whole fucking circle"
"What? " 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 expressed, everybody was confused
"What the hell are you saying, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜" 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 asked
"𝙲𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚎 was right" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 stated, still everybody was confused, except 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 , who was finally starting to understand
"Nobody is good, everybody is evil, be it 𝚁𝚘𝚖𝚎 and 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎, the circle of hatred doesn't end, the revenge persists, i can see now why he decided to live in between the two worlds " 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 said, restless, stressed, dragging his hands through his hair and sorts.
"The great and kind King 𝙷𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚛 was evil too, just like 𝙶𝚕𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚞𝚜 is. I'm so confused, why?, why does it have to be like this, how do i live in a world like this with an open mind, how do i find my peace in this world. There's no true happiness in this life, no true peace, not as long as this circle of hatred persists. The King does evil to 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, now he revenges , if the young prince survives, there's no doubt he'll try to take his revenge too. Even if he doesn't, someone will, someone, sometime with avenge 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 , with-"
"What- what...did you just talk about my son? " 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 asked, slowly. Nobody uttered a single word, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 only sighed, she looked at 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 with sorrowful gaze and said
"Please don't tell me, he's dead, please, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, i beg you " , crying, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 looked away.
"Look, woman, the city they all went to posses was a set up, they may be all dead now as we speak, especially 𝙷𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚛, he's not surviving 𝙶𝚕𝚊𝚍𝚒𝚞𝚜, he's been waiting for that opportunity for decades.... " 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 started, 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 cried more, everyone was shocked, wondering why he would say such at a time like this.
"𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 , what are you saying? " 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 pressed, he ignored and continued
".....but i believe your son is still alive..."
𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊'sface brightened a little, although confused.
"....he'll survive, some body has to avenge 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎 and for that he's been choosing, he will be faced with harsh challenges and impossible situations, trauma, all of that just to prepare him for his purpose. It's just how this life works. Also, Killing him or even 𝙷𝚎𝚌𝚝𝚘𝚛 was never 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗's idea, he only took the opportunity to get his revenge" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 stated, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 was a little surprised
"He could've stopped it, but it's easier said than done, just like you couldn't stop 𝚉𝚊𝚑𝚗" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 concluded, she lowered her gaze.
"The boy is certainly dead" 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 uttered, everybody looked at him, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 ignored him, walked up to 𝙻𝚢𝚜𝚊𝚗𝚍𝚛𝚊 , held her shoulder and said;
"Your son was a good man, i say that not because i think he's dead but because if he's alive, he's no longer the son you once knew" , she looked him, lost in her thoughts, then he stood and proceeded to say
"I need answers and i must go get them....now. My work here is done , we have taken over 𝙶𝚛𝚎𝚎𝚌𝚎, whatever it is that is left to be done can be done without me"
"What are you saying 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜, are you leaving? " 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 asked
"Indeed i am"
"That my friend might be a bad idea" 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 claimed
"Why would it?, haven't we won already, what else is there to do, who else is there to fight? " 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 enquired
"You are such a feeble, leave, you disgust me already" 𝙾𝚛𝚞𝚜𝚝𝚞𝚜 said as he spat, 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 glared at him for a while then proceeded to walk away in 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊's direction. He untied one of the swords on his waist and offered it to her
"Here's your sword, i brought it for, although now i see it was pointless, you didn't need it" he said, she took the sword from him and smiled then said
"Do you have to do this?, do you have to go? "
"I must, I need answers and i must get them from 𝙲𝚎𝚛𝚒𝚜𝚎" 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 replied, she lowered her gaze. 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 held both her shoulders and said
"Look after the team, i know how much you love them and how you've been so happy with them, i leave them now to you"
She smiled and look at them as they smiled back.
"You looked good in that dress earlier, i have to say, you should wear more of that " he added, she chuckled and said;
"Ohh shut up"
He chuckled too and walked away
"Say hello to the old man for me" she requested
"Sure, he'll be proud of you" he replied as he continued to walk.
"Lord 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜, do you really have to go? " 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 asked, he looked at her and nodded slowly
"Will you ever come back ?" 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 asked
"I hope i can" he answered, 𝚃𝚞𝚕𝚕𝚒𝚊 then ran to hug him, he was shocked but this time, he hugged her back, looked at the rest and said
"C'mon guys, join in"
They were surprised, then 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 and 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 rushed to join, 𝙻𝚒𝚞𝚋𝚊𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚊 joined too, 𝙽𝚢𝚡𝚊𝚛𝚊 looked at 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 hesitated and then nodded his head, then she rushed to join them, they all hugged tightly, smiling. To no one's surprise, a particular man did not join the huge.
"Can i join? " the bar soldier asked
"No! "
"Shut up! "
"Shut the fuck up"
"Who even in hell are you "
They all replied simultaneously. Then 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 look at them and said;
"Goodbye"
He nodded at 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗, 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 nodded back slowly, then he walked away.
"Wait...isn't this the guy from the bar? " 𝙵𝚕𝚊𝚟𝚒𝚊𝚗 asked
"Which guy, they were so many guys in the bar" 𝚂𝚎𝚟𝚎 replied. 𝙳𝚎𝚛𝚘𝚜 could hear this as he was leaving and slowly it became indistinct.
When he reached the ground, he looked up and saw 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 looking at him from the balcony, folding his hands behind his back, he stopped, look at him for a while, didn't understand what was happening but he noticed 𝙰𝚜𝚕𝚛𝚘𝚗 had a weird reaction to him leaving but he just couldn't understand, so he just kept going.
