Chapter 1 - A Destiny i dont want to accepted

Yup... this is human life, sometimes you don't know where to start. When all your dreams are in your head, but you're confused about where to begin.

"Hoam..." Her head hurt so bad, whether you wanted to call her lazy or stupid, it didn't work out. Evelyn tried to get out of bed, but before she could even start the day, the fatigue began to fill her entire body, starting with her tired mind, wondering what to do next.

"Good morning, Mom..."

"Morning too, Eve. Please take care of the house and don't forget to do your homework, okay? Mom has to leave very early to get to the shop..."

Again, the most disgusting job for her. Her family background wasn't from a wealthy family. Her mother divorced her father because he had to leave her, her sister, and her mother.

"Laura... wake up, get up quickly... I've prepared food." Eve woke her sister up for breakfast. Honestly, she was fed up with this kind of life. It wasn't her wish, nor her dream, to experience the destruction of her family at such a young age.

7 years ago, flashback Her mother's cries of grief over her father's departure, who had run away and abandoned his responsibilities. "We have to leave this town, you and your little brother... we'll stay with my family, okay?"

It was heartbreaking, as it was a time when she should have been enjoying shes teenage years like any other, staring at the ceiling of his house and sighing.

"It's okay, Mom..."

*back to reality now*

"Alex...bruno.. wake up.."

Alex and Bruno are not biological brothers, but half-brothers. Their mother remarried, but the tragedy repeated itself, with the two boys suffering the same fate as him and Laura. Living without a father figure is truly heartbreaking.

Honestly, it was hard for Evelyn, seeing her three younger siblings living in such misery. She couldn't even eat. And then there was the reality she had to accept

"Poor people shouldn't go to school... you idiot..."

A large sign reading "Stupid" was clearly displayed on the school blackboard. Although Eve had fortunately gotten into this elite high school, she couldn't deny that her mother forced her into it because of the promise of immediate employment after graduating. Every day, she endured the discomfort and bullying from her classmates. No one wanted to be friends with her because her family wasn't well-known. Elite schools only exploited smart students to be exploited and exploited by a classmate. For example, during the midterm exam, Eve refused to cheat on her Japanese language exam because she wasn't confident in her essay answers. Ultimately, she was bullied by a classmate for not giving her the exam paper. Besides living alone, the desire to disappear from this school grew stronger.

"Poor, poor! Hahaha!"

Eve could only remain silent during the bullying. What else could she do? Even if she screamed at her mother, she wouldn't listen.

After school, Eve continued her part-time job to buy milk for her two younger brothers. After finishing at the supermarket, she continued washing and ironing clothes at her aunt's house. Life was too tough when it came to money. Even your sibling could be your boss and give you money. Nothing is free in this world.

After returning from her part-time job, she saw her younger sister, Laura, busy preparing milk for her two younger brothers. This was truly heartbreaking, as Laura had lived a life of luxury and pampered. Even her father loved them both dearly; he always gave them whatever they asked for.

"Is Mom home?" Evelyn asked.

"Not yet, Sis. Have you eaten? I've cooked for you. Eat first," her sister replied.

Seeing her younger sister come in and feed her two younger brothers, she became even more convinced that something was wrong with her mother, leading to her three failed marriages.

The next day, Evelyn plucked up the courage to skip school. Although it was difficult, she didn't want to be a burden on her mother. The money could be used to feed her younger siblings or simply buy milk.

"I want to drop out of school. Leave me at home to take care of Alex and Bruno. Laura has to focus on her studies," Evelyn explained.

"Well, what else can I do," her mother replied.

Evelyn thought dropping out of school would be that scary, but she actually really enjoyed her time at home. It felt really good when no one bullied you about your background.at least once a holiday from the tiring world and helping your mother might reduce the big expenses a little.
