It was almost midnight when Riya reached the old railway station. The platform was nearly empty. Only a few dim lights were on, and the wind made a strange whistling sound.
She had received a message from her missing brother:
"Take the last train to Midnight. Don't tell anyone."
Her brother Aarav had disappeared three months ago. The police could not find him. This was the first message she had received from him.
At exactly 12:00 a.m., a black train slowly arrived. It looked old and rusty. There were no passengers inside.
Riya felt scared but stepped in.
The doors closed automatically.
The train started moving.
There were no announcements. No ticket checker. No driver visible.
Suddenly, her phone lost signal.
Then she heard a whisper:
"Riya…"
It was her brother's voice.
