Chapter 2 - Magical Power

Without wasting any time, Noah left Salisbury Lake behind.

His feet still touched the water as if it were solid ground, but with a light push, he moved forward toward the shore and, within seconds, was already crossing the uneven terrain that led to the nearby mountains. His body moved naturally, as if that lightness wasn't strange — as if it had always been that way.

Even so…

Something within him wasn't right.

With every step, a growing pressure took hold of his mind.

He entered the first cave he found, hidden among steep rocks and partially covered by vegetation. The interior was cold, silent… and dark enough to isolate him from the outside world.

The moment he crossed the entrance—

His body gave in.

Noah practically collapsed to the ground, bracing himself with one hand while the other immediately rose to his head.

"Damn it…!"

He clenched his teeth.

"My head hurts!"

The pain was not normal.

His mind was receiving unfamiliar information.

Information surged without warning, pouring into his consciousness like an unstoppable avalanche. Fragments of knowledge, concepts, instincts… everything emerging at once, without order, without preparation.

It was like trying to contain an ocean inside a cup.

"—gh…!"

Noah pressed his forehead hard, his body curling as he breathed irregularly.

It felt as if his head was about to explode at any moment.

Each new piece of information that surfaced increased the pressure.

Every second felt like torment.

But, gradually…

Very slowly…

The intensity began to fade.

The pain, once unbearable, became bearable.

Then… tolerable.

Until, finally, only a faint, throbbing discomfort remained.

His breathing steadied.

Noah remained still for a few moments, staring at the cave floor as he organized his thoughts.

The information had not disappeared.

It was… there.

Now understandable.

Now accessible.

"…Is this my magical power?"

he murmured, slowly raising his hand in front of his face.

His eyes focused on his own palm.

The silver aura manifested once again, flowing more steadily this time, as if it had been… acknowledged.

Noah slowly closed his fist.

The aura responded to his movement, compressing around his hand before slightly dissipating.

He remained silent for a second.

Then—

He stood up.

A sudden wave of excitement overtook his spirit, completely replacing the earlier discomfort.

His eyes gleamed intensely.

Without saying a word, Noah turned and dashed out of the cave.

The wind struck his face the moment he crossed the entrance.

And without slowing down—

He jumped.

"Woah—!"

The sound escaped his lips instantly.

His body didn't fall.

He remained floating in the air.

The silver aura enveloped him completely, sustaining him like an invisible force.

By reflex, Noah looked down.

Then around.

The world seemed… different from up there.

Lighter and wider.

He let out a small laugh, still surprised.

Instinctively, his perception expanded.

He sensed sources of magical power scattered around.

And they were not ordinary.

"There are… several sinister magical presences nearby…" His voice came out lower this time.

For a brief moment, he remained motionless in the air. He brought a hand to his head again, letting out a small sigh.

"…I still can't believe I reincarnated in this place."

His eyes closed for a second.

A mix of disbelief and acceptance passed across his expression.

"Seriously… this is kind of abnormal."

Even as he said that…

The faint smile at the corner of his lips revealed something different.

...

Far from Salisbury Lake, absolute light and absolute darkness clashed without restraint.

In the sky, two presences dominated everything.

On one side, the Light of the Grace of the Sun burned with divine intensity, scorching the very air around it, as if the world itself were unworthy of sustaining that brilliance.

On the other, the Darkness of the Commandment of Love — dense, heavy, almost liquid — consumed everything it touched like a bottomless abyss.

And at the center—

Two monsters.

Mael and Meliodas.

Then—

BOOM!

The impact between them was so violent that the space around them seemed to twist.

A shockwave exploded in all directions, sweeping across the battlefield indiscriminately. The ground cracked, the sky trembled, and everything nearby was simply hurled away.

The Commandments of the Demon Clan and the Angels of the Goddess Clan, who until then had been locked in fierce battles, were reduced to mere powerless spectators before that collision.

Bodies were thrown into the air.

Some crashed against mountains.

Others vanished into the horizon.

None of them—

Not a single one—

Was capable of interfering at that level of power.

"Meliodas!!" Zeldris's voice echoed in desperation as his body was dragged by the force of the impact, unable to steady himself in the air with his wings of darkness.

Even so, his eyes remained fixed on his brother.

But Meliodas…

Didn't even look back.

"Stay out of my way, foolish brother." His voice was low, cold, and completely indifferent — this was the Leader of the Ten Commandments, Meliodas, the Heir to the King.

The light intensified.

Mael raised his hand.

The heat around them increased to an absurd degree, as if the very sky were being compressed into a single point.

A star was born.

『Great Sun』

A massive sun formed above him, shining with an intensity that would blind any lesser being. The magical pressure was so overwhelming that the space around it seemed to bend under its weight.

Without hesitation—

Mael hurled the sun.

The incandescent mass plummeted from the heavens toward Meliodas, burning everything in its path, turning the air into flames and distorting the horizon.

But—

Meliodas did not move.

His eyes merely followed the descent of the attack.

At the last instant—

He raised his sword and swung it casually.

『Full Counter』

The blade gleamed for a brief moment.

And then—

The impossible happened.

The "Great Sun" was reflected with even greater power, returning at the same absurd speed toward Mael himself.

The impact of the counterattack tore through the air, carving a trail of destruction as the blazing sphere cut across the sky.

"Oh?" Mael showed interest.

His eyes narrowed slightly.

But there was no surprise.

Only… curiosity.

When the attack arrived—

He simply raised his hand.

And—

SWATTED IT ASIDE.

As if brushing away something trivial.

The "Great Sun" was violently deflected to the side.

The sphere tore across the sky like an uncontrolled meteor—

And struck the distant mountains.

BOOM!!

The explosion lit up the entire horizon.

Mountains were obliterated.

The earth trembled as if it were about to split apart.

A pillar of fire and light surged into the sky, visible from miles away.

The impact was so overwhelming that even those who had been thrown far away could feel the shock reverberating through their bodies.

Among them, Zenon watched with his eyes wide open.

"What magical power…" His voice came out almost as a whisper. "If it weren't for Meliodas… we'd be dead!"

Even as a Commandment… that was beyond any scale he had ever witnessed.

Beside him, Belion remained silent, but his expression said everything.

Unlike the others, he wasn't just frightened.

He was… shaken.

Someone who admired Meliodas.

Someone who saw the Ten Commandments as the pinnacle of power.

And yet—

That…

That surpassed any idealization he had ever had.

'What power…'

Suddenly—

Something changed.

In the midst of that devastated battlefield, where even breathing had become difficult due to the lingering magical pressure, a new presence emerged.

Fast.

Abnormally fast.

The Commandments who could still remain conscious were the first to notice.

A magical signature… unknown.

And it was approaching at high speed.

A glow appeared on the horizon.

A silver glow that cut through the sky like a comet.

"ENEMY!" Zenon was the first to react, his voice echoing with urgency as he pointed toward the direction of the approaching presence.

But before any strategy could even be formed—

"It doesn't matter!" Galand's voice burst forth, filled with pure confidence.

Without hesitation, the Commandment of Truth unleashed his darkness. It spread from his back, taking shape and molding into grotesque, dense wings.

With a single burst—

He launched forward.

The air exploded around him as his speed increased drastically, advancing straight toward the silver glow.

The encounter was immediate.

Ding!

A metallic sound echoed across the battlefield.

Galand's halberd came down with crushing force—

And collided directly with Noah's arm.

Sparks scattered through the air at the moment of impact.

It was like metal striking metal, even though Noah had blocked the blow with nothing but his arm.

His feet slid slightly through the air from the force of the impact, but he wasn't thrown back.

His eyes, however, showed confusion.

"Huh…?"

He stared at the figure in front of him.

"Galand… of Truth? Then… if I'm in Britannia, it makes sense for Galand to be here…"

His eyes narrowed.

'Wait…'

And then—

His eyes widened.

"…I'm in the past. In the… Holy War from 3,000 years ago?"

But—

He didn't have time to fully process it.

Galand wasn't the type to wait.

"You're distracted!" the demon's voice came along with another brutal advance.

With a heavy and swift motion, Galand spun his body and shoved Noah backward, momentarily breaking his guard.

And then—

The halberd came down once more.

The strike tore across Noah's chest in a violent arc, ripping through his clothes and opening a deep cut that stretched from one side of his torso to the other.

Blood scattered through the air.

"Gleh—!"

The sound escaped his throat upon impact.

His body was sent flying backward, spinning slightly before losing altitude.

He crashed against the ground in the distance, kicking up dust and fragments of stone on impact.

The white cloak, now stained red, lay partially over the fractured ground. The silver aura around Noah flickered.

For a brief moment—

All Noah could see was the Power of Darkness.

That same energy used by the Demon Clan… dense, oppressive, chaotic. But in Noah's eyes, it wasn't black.

It shone in silver.

As if it were being… reinterpreted.

Then—

It returned to normal.

His eyes opened once more.

But something had changed.

Suddenly, the silver aura surrounding his body began to fluctuate violently.

It no longer flowed steadily.

It was as if it were being corrupted… or transformed.

Galand narrowed his eyes as he observed it.

"What is this…?" His voice, once filled with confidence, now carried a faint trace of doubt.

A aura prateada começou a se condensar.

Escurecer, se tornando mais densa e mais pesada.

The silver aura began to condense.

To darken, becoming denser and heavier.

Until—

It changed completely.

The soft glow vanished, replaced by a thick, irregular black substance, like a mixture of shadow and liquid, pulsing around Noah's body.

"Hmm…?" Galand tilted his head slightly.

That wasn't ordinary demonic power.

But it also… wasn't something natural.

It was unknown.

And that alone made it dangerous.

At the center of that phenomenon—

Noah moved.

His body began to rise from the ground.

The blood that had once flowed across his cloak… stopped.

And then—

It began to return.

As if time itself had been reversed, but only for that moment.

The red stains retracted, being pulled back into the open wound on his chest.

The black substance moved next.

It covered the injury completely, molding over the exposed flesh.

It closed, leaving no scar or mark.

As if the strike had never happened.

Right after, that same energy spread across the torn fabric, restoring the white cloth and its silver details thread by thread, until everything returned to its original state.

Untouched.

Noah finished rising.

His feet touched the ground firmly.

His eyes were now different — their natural color overtaken by darkness.

He looked at his own hand again, observing the black substance that slowly began to return to a silver tone around his fingers.

"So…" His voice came out calm and low. "So this is how it works… my magical power?"

He closed his fist.

The aura responded instantly, flickering between silver and black for a brief moment before stabilizing.

Within Noah's mind, a name echoed.

Like a truth impossible to deny.

The God(全能).
