[The Parade of Lies]
A year had passed since Haiyan arrived in that strange land.
During that time, Haiyan slowly built a new life. He met new people, made loyal friends, and together they formed a small group that trusted one another like family. But deep inside Haiyan's mind, the memory of one person never disappeared—the devilish merchant who had destroyed everything.
One morning, news spread throughout the area.
A grand military march parade would be held in the central field. High-ranking officers from across the region would attend the event, including the Commander-in-Chief himself.
When Haiyan and his friends heard the news, they immediately began discussing a plan.
"If we can tell the Commander the truth about that merchant," one of Haiyan's friends said quietly, "the army might finally stop him."
Everyone agreed.
The next day, Haiyan and his friends wore uniforms similar to the parade participants so they could blend in with the crowd. Their goal was simple—reach the Commander and reveal the truth.
But when they arrived at the parade ground, something felt wrong.
Across the field stood another group wearing uniforms almost identical to theirs.
At first, Haiyan thought they were just another marching team.
But soon a horrifying truth emerged.
That group belonged to none other than the same devilish merchant.
Even worse, the merchant had somehow gained power in this new region. Rumors said he had become a powerful military officer after fleeing from Haiyan's homeland.
A wave of tension spread through Haiyan's group.
Still, they had already come too far to turn back.
They rushed toward the parade field, hoping to reach the Commander before the ceremony began.
At last, one of Haiyan's friends stepped forward and saluted.
"Sir," he said bravely, "we have something important to report."
But before he could continue, a sudden movement came from behind.
The merchant appeared.
His face was calm, but his eyes carried a terrifying cruelty.
Without warning, he grabbed Haiyan's friend and slammed his head violently against a nearby wall.
The sound echoed across the field.
The friend collapsed instantly.
The merchant then turned toward the Commander and spoke loudly.
"Sir, these men are dangerous criminals. They are responsible for the destruction that happened in the western territories."
Then he pointed directly at Haiyan.
"Their leader is Mohammad Haiyan Biswas. He escaped from that region a year ago and has been hiding here ever since."
The merchant continued spreading lies one after another.
Before Haiyan could respond, his friends quickly surrounded him.
"You must leave," one of them whispered urgently.
"We will handle this."
Haiyan hesitated for a moment, but their expressions were clear. They were ready to sacrifice themselves if necessary.
With a heavy heart, Haiyan slipped away from the back of the crowd and ran.
He kept running until the parade ground was far behind him.
Eventually, Haiyan found an abandoned house at the edge of the town and hid inside.
Later, terrible news reached him.
The merchant had captured the remaining members of his group.
One by one, they were executed.
The grief nearly broke Haiyan.
But when he explored deeper inside the strange house, he discovered something unexpected.
A few of his friends had survived.
They had managed to escape.
Inside that house, they were secretly planning their revenge.
And among them was a mysterious girl.
She had changed her name and identity.
Secretly, she had been communicating with the merchant through WhatsApp, pretending to be someone else.
Her mission was dangerous.
Gain the merchant's trust.
Find his weakness.
And destroy him from within.
But none of them realized yet…
that the battle against the merchant had only just begun.
