Once upon a time there was a king called Midas. He was vary rich. Yet he always longed for more riches. Moreover, he was fond of gold though he had a lot of it. He thought if he had the golden touch, hr would be the happiest man.A wish good grantad his wish promptly. In the afternoon, Midas was sittting near an apple tree in the palace orchard. A ripe apple fell from the tree beside him. As soon as he picked it up it turned to gold. Midas relized he picked it up it turned to with a gold. Midas realized he had been blessed with a golden touch. He was overwhelmed with joy. He entered the palace with an ecstasy of joy.
His young daughter, Marigold came running to her father. Midas took her up in his arm with an intensity of glee. The princess was no more that Marigold. The king loved his daughter more then anything else. Now he need Marigold and not gold. He was seeding bitter tears. Suddenly his face beamed up. He remembered the wish god.
He prayed to him to take away the golden touch. The wish god heard the king' s prayer and lifted from him the golen touch. Midas felt porfoundly grateful. He took the princess into the lap. His joy new know no bound. He grew wiser and gave up his greed.
