Chapter 30 - What Cannot Be Controlled

Human World — After the Awakening

Silence.

Not peaceful—

Heavy.

The kind of silence that comes after something breaks.

Eisteth stood in the center of the ruined ICU.

Her aura still lingering.

Violet.

Dark.

Unfamiliar.

The cracks in reality had stopped spreading.

But they weren't gone.

They were being held—

By her.

The Cost Begins

Her body trembled.

Just slightly.

But enough.

"…Ah…"

She held her chest.

Her breathing uneven.

The system flickered weakly.

[NEW STATE — UNSTABLE]

[ENERGY OVERLOAD DETECTED]

Power—

Too much for her current body.

Daveras Moves

Daveras stepped forward immediately.

"…Hey—"

He reached out.

Careful.

"…You're pushing too far."

His voice softer now.

Not fighting.

Not defensive.

Just—

Worried.

Leviathan Hesitates

Leviathan moved—

Then stopped.

His hand slightly raised.

But he didn't touch her.

"…If I get closer…"

He knew.

His presence—

Might destabilize her more.

Cifer Observes

Cifer watched everything.

Quiet.

Calculating.

"…Your existence is rejecting balance."

His voice calm.

But sharp.

"…That means it will eventually reject you too."

The First Collapse

Her aura flickered violently.

For a split second—

The cracks in reality spread again.

The sky distorted.

The hospital trembled.

Then—

It stopped.

She forced it down.

"…I'm fine…"

She lied.

Amon's Response

Far away—

In darkness—

Amon stood before the red crystal.

This time—

He wasn't smiling.

"…So you chose a path outside control."

His fingers tightened.

"…Then I'll erase the path itself."

The crystal pulsed.

And behind him—

A presence awakened.

Something older.

Stronger.

Not a Purifier.

Not a clone.

Something else.

Arrival of the General

Back in the human world—

The air tore open again.

But this time—

Different.

Heavier.

Slower.

More dangerous.

A figure stepped through.

Tall.

Silent.

Wrapped in black-white energy.

His presence alone—

Crushed the surroundings.

Bar narrowed his eyes.

"…This isn't a Purifier."

Leviathan's expression hardened.

"…No."

Cifer spoke quietly.

"…This is a commander."

The Pressure

The new enemy didn't rush.

Didn't speak immediately.

He simply stood—

And the space bent around him.

"…Target confirmed."

His voice mechanical.

Cold.

"…Eliminate anomaly."

His eyes—

Locked onto her.

Immediate Reaction

Daveras stepped forward.

Without hesitation.

"…You're not touching her."

His aura flared again.

Crimson rising.

Leviathan moved as well.

This time—

No hesitation.

He stood beside Daveras.

Blue energy rising.

Opposite sides—

Now aligned.

Forced Alliance

For the first time—

They stood together.

Not as rivals.

Not as enemies.

But as—

Protectors.

Cifer didn't stop them.

He stepped back slightly.

Watching.

Testing.

First Clash

The general moved.

Instant.

No warning.

Too fast.

Even for them.

BOOM.

The impact shook everything.

Daveras blocked—

Barely.

Leviathan countered—

Immediately.

But the force—

Pushed them both back.

Difference in Power

"…He's stronger…"

Leviathan muttered.

Daveras wiped blood from his lip.

"…Yeah…"

"But not unbeatable."

Eisteth Watches

She stood behind them.

Trying to stabilize herself.

Trying—

Not to collapse.

"…Why…"

Her voice soft.

"…does it always come to this…"

The System Warns

[CRITICAL — ENERGY INSTABILITY]

[EXTERNAL THREAT LEVEL: MAXIMUM]

[RECOMMENDATION: WITHDRAW]

She laughed weakly.

"…Too late for that…"

Ending

The battle had changed.

The enemy had changed.

The rules—

Were gone.

Daveras and Leviathan—

Forced to fight together.

Cifer—

Still watching.

Calculating.

And Eisteth—

Standing on the edge of collapse.

Trying to hold two worlds together.

While the next threat—

Was already stronger than the last.

And far away—

Amon whispered:

"…Let's see how long you can survive like that."
